Every March 14th, math enthusiasts come together to celebrate Pi Day, and this year, Mathnasium centers across Northern Virginia and Maryland hosted four incredible parties to mark the occasion! Students from across the DC metro area joined the festivities at our Alexandria City, Columbia, McLean, and Tysons locations, where math, fun, and food came together for a one-of-a-kind celebration.
Each party featured engaging pi-themed activities, interactive math challenges, and a chance to explore the significance of 3.14 in a hands-on way. Of course, no Pi Day party would be complete without pizza pie and a crowd-favorite tradition—the chance to pie a staff member! Our students certainly made the most of that opportunity!
