Paul holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Washington Adventist University and brings a passion for hands-on learning to his role at Mathnasium. He started by teaching science experiments to elementary students, which led him to Mathnasium, where he now helps students explore number sense and problem-solving.
Paul enjoys connecting with kids and believes in the power of the Mathnasium Method to make math meaningful. When he’s not in the center, he enjoys skateboarding—and fun fact: he once landed a heelflip!
Austin holds a degree in Mathematics from James Madison University and has been with Mathnasium since 2019. He’s led multiple centers as Center Director and now supports teams across locations in his role as Area Manager.
Austin’s enthusiasm for math and education is matched by his creative side—he minored in film studies and enjoys filmmaking, podcasting, and reading in his free time. His goal is to help students and teams grow with clarity and confidence.
Jeff earned his degree in Economics from James Madison University and a Master’s in Education from George Mason University. He spent a decade teaching math at the high school and college level before taking on leadership roles in national restaurant brands.
Now at Mathnasium, Jeff combines his passion for math education with operational excellence. He enjoys helping teams and students succeed. In his free time, he spends time with his wife of 28 years, their two dogs, and visiting their three adult children.
James holds a degree in Mathematics from the University of Virginia and served seven years in the U.S. Air Force as an aircraft maintenance officer. It was during that time he began tutoring and saw how difficult—but important—math is for many students.
In 2007, James earned his MBA from UVA’s Darden School of Business. As CEO, he combines his love for problem-solving with a mission to make math more accessible and empowering for every student.
