Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Anish Medini

Instructor

Anish is a high school student in Merced currently taking AP classes, with a strong interest in teaching and supporting younger learners. He enjoys helping students find the methods that work best for their learning style and celebrates every step forward in their math journey.

Outside of Mathnasium, Anish enjoys playing tennis and video games. He brings enthusiasm and empathy to each session, making math engaging and approachable for every student.

Vu Nguyen

Instructor

Vu is a third-year economics student at UC Merced with a personal understanding of math challenges. As a former Mathnasium student himself, he now uses that experience to support others, offering students alternative ways to approach and master math concepts.

Vu brings a thoughtful, student-focused approach to every session. His goal is to help learners overcome frustration and gain the confidence they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.
