Three: The smallest odd prime number. A triangular number (sum of all integers from 1 to 2): 3 = 1+2. In real life, we of course use this number to count and make groups, but the number three is also used in many cultures to represent balance and life.

Line: is straight (no bends), has no thickness, and extends in both directions without end (infinitely). We can look at the horizon and see it spanning infinitely to either side of us. We can also use lines to represent time.
