Center Director and Owner
Meet Ming Hui, Owner and Center Director of Mathnasium of Milford! Ming is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in investment management, education, and entrepreneurship. Since 2023, she has been making a significant impact as the Owner and Center Director at Mathnasium of Milford, where she is dedicated to fostering a love for math and improving educational outcomes for students in the Greater New Haven area.
In addition to her role at Mathnasium, Ming is the Founder of Mobabbi, a children’s product startup venture. Before embarking on her entrepreneurial journey, she served as a Director at Affiliated Managers Group (AMG), advising AMG’s portfolio companies on business strategies.
Ming holds an MBA from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BS in Finance from Babson College. She is deeply involved in the Asian community, having served as a Board Member for the National Association of Asian American Professionals - Boston Chapter (NAAAP Boston) for over 12 years and now building a chapter in Connecticut. Outside of her professional endeavors, Ming enjoys spending quality time with her kids and family.
Mack Wishart
Director of Education and High School Math Specialist
Mack Wishart is our dedicated Director of Education and High School Math Specialist at Mathnasium of Milford. With a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Western Connecticut State University and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Mathematical Statistics and Probability at Central Connecticut State University, Mack brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to our learning center.
Known for his ability to make even the most challenging math concepts approachable and engaging, Mack is committed to helping students build confidence and excel. He takes the time to understand each student’s unique learning style, ensuring they feel supported at every step. From breaking down algebraic equations to tackling geometry puzzles, Mack’s patience and enthusiasm make math enjoyable for everyone!
When he’s not inspiring young minds at Mathnasium, Mack enjoys playing the guitar, watching sports, and spending time with his dog, Sophie.

Kacy O'Connor
Assistant Center Director and Elementary School Math Specialist
Kacy O’Connor is our dedicated Assistant Center Director and Elementary School Math Specialist at Mathnasium of Milford. With a passion for education and a talent for connecting with students, Kacy plays an integral role in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Kacy is known for her friendly demeanor, strong organizational skills, and commitment to helping each student succeed. Whether she’s coordinating programs, assisting with instruction, or cheering students on as they master new skills, Kacy brings positivity and enthusiasm to everything she does.
A Milford native, Kacy attended Jonathan Law High School before graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Saint Joseph. During her college years, she played softball, served as Treasurer of the Student Government Association, and was inducted into the prestigious Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor Society in 2021.
Kacy is currently earning her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership while balancing multiple roles as a 5th Grade Math and Science Teacher and Team Lead at Park City Prep Charter School, a softball coach, and an academic coach for Horizons Bridgeport. Her diverse experience and dedication to education make her an invaluable part of the Mathnasium team.
Outside of work, Kacy enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and shopping. Her love for teaching is unmatched, and she is passionate about making math engaging and accessible for every student.

Mathnasium provides premium value by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low. There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly—much like a gym membership. We recommend that they attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout.
