Emily is most excited about building genuine connections with her students and sparking engaging, thoughtful conversations about math. Her instructional philosophy is rooted in flexibility and growth:
"I love exploring different ways to approach a problem, recognizing that the same method doesn’t work for everyone, and I firmly believe that making mistakes is a vital part of the learning process."
Her favorite math topic is systems of equations, where multiple pieces of a puzzle come together to find a solution. When she’s not at Mathnasium, Emily enjoys diving into a good book, working on paint-by-number projects, and playing with her dog, Jasper!
