Charles brings over 25 years of experience working with students as both a math teacher and college professor. He is passionate about helping students grow in confidence and skill, and especially enjoys the moment when a challenging concept finally “clicks.”
His instructional philosophy is simple: help students succeed. CharlIe's favorite math topic is Algebra, where foundational skills open the door to deeper mathematical thinking.
Outside of Mathnasium, Charles enjoys traveling and lifelong learning.
Meagan joins Mathnasium of Milford MA after a successful career in mortgage banking, where she used math every day to solve real-world problems. She enjoys helping students discover how math applies to everyday life and builds essential problem-solving skills.
Whether she’s hiking, kayaking, or spending time with her nephews, Meagan brings patience, positivity, and energy to every lesson. She’s passionate about helping kids grow in confidence and have fun learning math.
Subhash is a high school senior planning to pursue a career in the medical field. His passion for helping others shines through in his teaching, where he strives to create a low-stress, high-support environment for learning math.
He understands how intimidating math can feel and is committed to making it more approachable and enjoyable for students. His goal is to help kids see that math can be fun, empowering, and deeply rewarding.
Emily Gay brings a wealth of academic expertise and hands-on classroom experience to our team, having earned her degree in Secondary Education and Mathematics from Assumption University. With six years of experience working with students—including four years as a professional educator—Emily has a deep understanding of how to reach learners at various stages of their journey.
Emily is most excited about building genuine connections with her students and sparking engaging, thoughtful conversations about math. Her instructional philosophy is rooted in flexibility and growth:
"I love exploring different ways to approach a problem, recognizing that the same method doesn’t work for everyone, and I firmly believe that making mistakes is a vital part of the learning process."
Her favorite math topic is systems of equations, where multiple pieces of a puzzle come together to find a solution. When she’s not at Mathnasium, Emily enjoys diving into a good book, working on paint-by-number projects, and playing with her dog, Jasper!
Antara is a junior at Brown University studying Applied Mathematics. She loves teaching math because she wants students to enjoy it as much as she does. Her favorite topic is Linear Algebra, where she appreciates the balance of logic, structure, and problem-solving.
Outside of Mathnasium, Antara enjoys reading and practicing yoga. A fun fact about her: she volunteers at car races with the Sports Car Club of America!
Vinay brings a wealth of teaching experience from his career as a professor, where he guided students through complex concepts with care and clarity. He believes math is not just a subject, but a confidence-builder that can transform how students see themselves as learners.
At Mathnasium of Milford MA, Vinay aims to create a welcoming, supportive environment where personalized learning helps students build lasting skills. As a parent, soccer coach, and community member, he’s excited to help families discover the joy of math.
