Holly has a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education from Seattle Pacific University and a Master's degree in Forensic Science from University of California Davis. She comes to us after having spent 11 years in US Navy as a Cryptologic Warfare Officer. Math has always been a passion for Holly, and she loves all things related to problem-solving. She desires to help students develop confidence, conquer their challenges, and experience how math can be fun! Holly believes that when parents, students, and educators all work together, children can have great success in mathematics, and she works to promote that collaboration for everyone's benefit.
Ira is the Owner and Managing Director of Mathnasium of Mill Creek, Mathnasium of Bothell & Mathnasium of Maple Valley in WA.
Sainam is a recent graduate from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Mathematics and a minor in Applied Mathematics. Her love for math led her to Mathnasium, where she is passionate about teaching and inspiring young children to develop a strong foundation in mathematics. Sainam is excited to share her skills across a wide range of mathematical concepts, fostering a love for learning in every student she teaches.
Matthew has a B.S. in mechanical engineering and minors in nuclear engineering and mathematics from The Ohio State University. He has a never ending love for learning that he wants to share with others, so he is continuing his education with a masters in teaching from Seattle University. He says that math is in everything and that everything in math has a purpose, as math is the language of the natural world. Outside of Math: He was a competitive fencer for over a decade and his most recent result is being the 2021 division 1 men’s epee national champion. He also played the trumpet for over 10 years and can solve any size or shape of Rubik's puzzle, having never once looked up or been taught a solution method.
Seema holds a B.S. in Computer Science Engineering and brings over 20 years of experience in software engineering and management. Recently, she has transitioned to math tutoring, where she blends her passion for teaching with her love for mathematics. In addition to her tutoring, Seema is a dance and fitness enthusiast, sharing her joy for movement by teaching dance to seniors. In her free time, she enjoys painting with acrylics and colored pencils, expressing her creativity through art.
Brian has a B.S. in computer science from the University of Washington. He's always enjoyed math and believes it's the most important subject taught in school. He aims to help the students at Mathnasium enjoy math the same way he does. In his free time, he likes to go on runs and play video games.
