Marisela Giles

She has had a passion for math and education since high school, when she began working as an AVID tutor. She quickly fell in love with those “aha!” moments when a student finally understands a concept that once felt difficult. Since then, she has worked with students of all ages, from preschool through college, as a teaching assistant, tutor, after-school program leader, and college instructor while pursuing her Master’s in Mathematics. She loves helping students break through their “math walls” and build confidence in their abilities.

Outside of Mathnasium, she enjoys running, solving puzzles, collecting rocks, and spending time outdoors. She is always excited to learn something new and share that curiosity with her students!
