Connie brings a well-rounded background in leadership, sales, and education to her role as Center Director. She joined Mathnasium with a heartfelt mission to support students in both their academic and personal growth. Her warm personality and drive to make a difference shine through in her daily interactions.
Connie is passionate about building an environment where students feel safe, welcomed, and empowered to learn. She is thrilled to lead a team dedicated to building confidence and creating positive learning experiences.
Julie is currently pursuing a degree in biological sciences at the University of South Alabama. She has a natural gift for teaching students of all ages and effortlessly adapts her instruction from early numeracy to advanced subjects like calculus.
Julie believes math is more than just numbers. It’s a powerful tool for developing logic and problem-solving skills that extend far beyond the classroom. Her passion for helping students grow shines through in every session.
Karson is a computer science student at the University of South Alabama. He brings his love of logic, coding, and problem-solving to the learning center, where he helps students understand the value of math in everyday life and future careers.
He enjoys playing the guitar and spending time with his dog, Kassie. Karson views Mathnasium not as a job, but as a meaningful opportunity to show students that math doesn’t have to be frustrating. It can be exciting when taught in the right way.
Evans studies biomedical sciences at the University of South Alabama and brings a dynamic energy to the center. In addition to speaking French, Evans loves working with younger students and seeing their unique ways of approaching math problems.
What Evans enjoys most is witnessing students bring creativity to their learning. Whether it's through lively discussion or thoughtful problem-solving, they believe every student has something special to offer and love helping them discover it.
Lani joined Mathnasium as an in-school instructor serving students within the Mobile County Public School System. Her dedication and strong math abilities led her to transition into the in-center team, where she continues to support students with enthusiasm.
She enjoys working closely with students in a caring and structured environment, always aiming to build understanding and confidence. Lani brings a positive attitude and a commitment to helping kids thrive.
Bonnie is a three-year old Yorkie mix (her birthday is May 17). She loves math and is very bright. The other day we asked her what seven minus seven equalled and she said nothing! She's been coming to the Mobile center since she was about two months old. She enjoys checking on the students, looking out the door to see who's coming in next, and sniffing the trash cans for anything interesting that might be there to chew on.
