In June 2024, Walker was promoted from Instructor to Assistant Center Director at Mathnasium of Mobile. He has demonstrated true leadership potential and provided excellent guidance to our students. Walker is a student at the University of South Alabama, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. His classwork requires a strong background and concentration in math, something he really enjoys. "The answers to all the questions in the universe are contained in math" Walker says.

Seth is a current student at the University of South Alabama, majoring in Computer Science and Math. He's also a member of the United States Air Force Command. Seth says math isn't just a subject in school, it's a way of thinking. "teaching this way of thinking helps prepare students for higher level critical thinking later in life," he says. "It leads people to becoming problem solvers."

Ansley is an instructor at Mathnasium of Mobile. She's currently a student at the University of South Alabama where she's working on two majors and very involved in student outreach activities. Ansley brings great energy to our center and is outstanding at connecting with students. "Math is important because it helps you learn how to problem solve, a skill everyone needs in the real world," Ansley says.

Julie is a student at South Alabama, majoring in biological sciences. She's an outstanding math instructor and has a real gift for working with kids of all ages. She's easily able to switch from basic number identification to Calculus depending on the student's need. "Math is a constant in life," Julie says. "It comes with so many logical and problem solving skills that apply beyond the classroom.

Lauren is a student at South Alabama, majoring in chemical engineering. She has a strong math background and is also great at transferring her knowledge to students. She believes math is essential to every career. "Not everyone goes to college, but math is not applicable just to college degrees. Shopping, doing taxes, making investments, and numerous other regular activities all require some level of math competency. It's important to have those math skills to participate and make good decisions."

Center Director
Morgan served as Summer Coordinator for Mathnasium of Mobile in 2023. She was so inspired by our commitment to students and to making math fun and relatable, that when she graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2024 she found her way back to Mathnasium. Morgan accepted the role of Center Director for our Mobile and Eastern Shore locations and started back with us in June 2024. She's a fantastic addition to our management team. Morgan is great with students and a tremendous resource for our parents.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
