Assistant Center Director
Jenna is the Assistant Center Director at Mathnasium of Mobile. Over the past year, she worked her way up from instructor to taking on more and more responsibility in managing the center. She is a trusted teammate who brings out the best in others and gives her best as well. A natural leader, Jenna is instrumental in handling the day to day instruction of our students. She is a current student at the University of South Alabama, majoring in biomedical science. Jenna came to South with a stellar academic resume which included a strong background in math. She's great at working with kids of any age and ability, transitioning easily from the basics of addition and subtraction to the complexities of trigonometry. "I believe math education is important because math is always relevant," Jenna says. "No matter what someone chooses to do with their life, they will always use math in some way."

Walker is a student at the University of South Alabama, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. His classwork requires a strong background and concentration in math, something he really enjoys. "The answers to all the questions in the universe are contained in math" Walker says.

Seth is a current student at the University of South Alabama, majoring in Computer Science and Math. He's also a member of the United States Air Force Command. Seth says math isn't just a subject in school, it's a way of thinking. "teaching this way of thinking helps prepare students for higher level critical thinking later in life," he says. "It leads people to becoming problem solvers."

Matt is a graduate of the University of South Alabama, with a BS degree in Exercise Science. He intends to go on to an advanced degree in physical therapy. "Math education is important because it exercises your brain," Matt says. "Math helps you develop necessary life skills and can help you understand other subjects like science and history."

Ansley is an instructor at Mathnasium of Mobile. She's currently a student at the University of South Alabama where she's working on two majors and very involved in student outreach activities. Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
