Effects of the Pandemic

Dec 11, 2021 | Monrovia

An article by the Daily Bulletin explains how having the limited access to in person instruction during the viral pandemic lead to a significant decline in standardized test scores this year. The average decline in math went down almost 15%. Furthermore, the research that has been done for these findings are likely underestimating the true decline since there were less participating students this year. The years to come will give us a better idea of how the pandemic effected our children's acedmic learning. In the meantime, let us prepare to give them the best possible tools to help them catch up and get back on track. If you want more information on how Mathnasium could help our students visit us at Mathnasium of Monrovia.
