Sahar holds a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Western Illinois University and a BS in Mathematics from Bradley University. Before opening her own center, she served as the Center Director at Mathnasium of Buffalo Grove. Her passion for math education and helping students grow is at the heart of everything she does.
Sahar is excited to bring the Mathnasium Method™ to the Monrovia community. She enjoys teaching students in a way that makes sense to them, and loves spending her free time in nature, traveling, exploring cultures, and sharing recipes.
Kristine earned her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde. She is a proud parent of two children who attend Mathnasium and enjoys being part of a team that helps students grow in confidence every day.
Kristine brings creativity, organization, and heart to her role. She finds joy in seeing students proud of their accomplishments and strives to contribute to Mathnasium’s positive learning environment. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, playing pickleball, and spending time with her family.
Roula is a passionate math educator and mother of four. Her love for mathematics began early and evolved into a fulfilling career in education. She brings extensive experience and a joyful, effective approach to working with children.
Roula believes math should be engaging and rewarding. Outside the center, she enjoys outdoor adventures like climbing and swimming. Her time with family brings her the greatest happiness, and she is deeply grateful for every moment spent with them.
Magdalena loves working with children and inspiring them to see their potential. She enjoys helping students use math as a tool to discover their abilities and build confidence.
Her teaching style is warm and supportive, making math approachable and fun. In her free time, Magdalena enjoys singing, listening to music, watching dramas and kung fu movies, and treating herself to cake and boba.
Clarissa is a Biomedical Engineering student at Pasadena City College who has always found math exciting and rewarding. Her passion lies in showing students how fun and fulfilling math can be.
She enjoys creating strong, supportive connections with students and celebrates their growth over time. Outside of Mathnasium, Clarissa enjoys spending time with friends and family while exploring her interests in STEM.

About me: Hello! I am Ben, I am a computer science major with a minor in math. I've been tutoring students for over 4 years because I want to foster in others the same love for math that I have. My plans are to enter the QA field, since I've always liked how much you can glean about software through glitch exploitation. In my free time, I listen to music, read, and talk to my friends.

About me: Hello! I'm Carlos Miranda. I have a passion for working with students that stems from my experience in my high school debate team, working with other high school debate teams and tutoring during college. After acquiring a bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from Cal State LA, I am working on improving my ability to teach mathematics. I hope to give knowledge and inspiration to students who are working to improve their math skills by providing a safe and positive space to do so here at Mathnasium. Aside from math, I enjoy spending my time going to the gym, listening to music, and using my computer.

Hello, my name is Peter. Throughout my life, I’ve always had a burning passion for mathematics. I love understanding different math concepts and the logic behind them. I always try to be involved in any math programs that my schools offer. Some math extracurriculars I have been a part of are math clubs, competitive math teams, and math peer tutoring. I enjoy working with students because it gives me the opportunity to share my passion for math with others and help them throughout their academic journey.

About me: Hi! I'm Nikhil. I joined Mathnasium because I've always enjoyed math and its neighboring disciplines, I want to become a better teacher, and I believe that laying a solid mathematical foundation is one of the most impactful things you can do for a kid. I did my studies in computer science and physics, and my master's research in quantum computing and cryptography. Nowadays I spend most of my time programming, especially on things like compilers and game engines, but I also do a good amount of reading, calisthenics, and trying to figure out how to make better coffee.

In my off time, I'm usually playing basketball, attending card shows, working on my car, or getting my motorcycle license.

Talking to students and helping them understand new math concepts make my day. I’ve always enjoyed math and found it easy to understand.
