Ellianna Bowman

Instructor

Ellianna is a Delaware Valley University senior pursuing a B.A. in Counseling Psychology. She is a dedicated Math Instructor with experience from two previous Mathnasium centers. She brings valuable experience working with children of all ages, including those with learning disabilities, creating an encouraging and effective learning environment. Ellianna’s background and her ongoing education in child psychology support her ability to connect with students and foster their confidence in math.

Salma Hasan

Instructor

Salma combines her academic training in Data Science and Bioinformatics with practical teaching experience to support Mathnasium students. With a background in Data Science from Temple University and ongoing graduate studies in Bioinformatics at Drexel University, she excels in making complex mathematical concepts relatable and understandable. Salma's prior experience as a student teacher has honed her ability to engage with students of all ages, helping them grow in confidence and ability.

Parker Madey

Instructor

Parker is a passionate educator with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Millersville University. At Mathnasium of Montgomeryville, he applies his extensive mathematical knowledge and strong analytical skills to help students understand and excel in mathematics up to the Calculus level. Parker's dedication to education and his ability to analyze and communicate complex concepts make him a valuable member of our team.

John Buchner

Instructor
John is a Mechanical Engineer and MBA with over 20 years of experience in supply chain management, specializing in process optimization, cost reduction, and team leadership. He has a proven track record of enhancing operational efficiency and driving results in complex manufacturing environments. John is excited to leverage his analytical skills and passion for education in a new career as a math teacher, bringing a unique perspective from his extensive background in engineering and business.

Allie Murray

Instructor

Allie has always been passionate about mathematics and engineering. Growing up as a member of an all-female FIRST Robotics team, she thrived in collaborative, STEM-focused environments, which led her to study Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering at the United States Naval Academy. As a Naval Officer, she applied complex mathematical principles to missile defense systems, contributing to the safety of America and its allies. Her commitment to impactful work inspired her to pursue an MBA from Wharton. Now, she is eager to share her love for mathematics and inspire the next generation of problem solvers and leaders.

Gerges Mekhael

Instructor

Gerges holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics and a strong background in research and development. He has previously worked at the Mathnasium in Collegeville and is passionate about helping students excel in math. From algebra to geometry, Gerges is here to make math engaging and accessible for learners of all ages.

Dave Walbert

Instructor
Dave completed a Bachelor of Science in Physics with minors in Mathematics and Business Administration. Dave also graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a Master of Science in Medical Physiology. He’s also a Corrective Exercise Specialist (TBMM-CES), he was a Peer Tutor for biology, and he also served as the Co-Founder and President of a weightlifting and fitness club at Drexel. Dave has served as a Teaching Assistant in physics at Drexel University, he has taught math and science classes at Temple University, and he has taught math and science classes at Northwestern University. In addition, Dave has also served as a Mentor at five Climate Reality Leadership Corps trainings. Since he loves math, Dave has also served as a Center Director and an Instructor at various Mathnasium centers. Dave has developed a true passion for teaching, tutoring, mentoring, and lifelong learning that he hopes to share with students. Dave can usually be found working out, teaching, studying, or cooking.
