Tabitha
Center Director
I’m passionate about education, especially math, and I believe a solid foundation in this subject is essential for success in life. As someone who has homeschooled my own children, I understand the challenges kids face when it comes to learning math, and I’m dedicated to making it accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Having lived in North Carolina for over 20 years, I’ve seen firsthand the need for stronger math education in our community. I’m committed to changing the way people perceive math and helping the younger generation gain the confidence and skills they need to succeed.
I’m excited to lead our learning center and bring my experience and passion to create a positive and impactful environment for the children we serve.

She has taught and tutored children of all ages, and she is committed to bringing the Mathnasium Method to the children in the Huntersville community.
Mya
Master Instructor
I’m a lifelong learner with a strong interest in quantitative reasoning. I earned my BGS with emphases in Microbiology, Statistics, and Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a BS in Mathematics from UNC Charlotte. Currently, I’m continuing my graduate studies online at NC State in Engineering Education.
As an instructor, my goal is to help students develop problem-solving skills while mastering computational arithmetic and symbolic algebra. I strive to guide them as they build confidence and learn to synthesize solutions to real math problems.
I love seeing the joy on students’ faces when they learn something new each time they return to Mathnasium!
Indu
Instructor
I’m Indu, a senior at South Iredell High School. Math has always been my favorite subject because of its versatility and how it applies to the real world. I enjoy learning new concepts and helping others develop an appreciation for the subject.
At Mathnasium, I’m committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students can build confidence in their math skills.
Rory
Instructor
I’m Rory, a student at Lake Norman High School, and I’ll be graduating in 2025. I plan to go into chemical engineering.
I enjoy my job because the people I work with are friendly, and I like helping young kids learn to enjoy math the way I do.
Olesya
Instructor
I’ve worked in various corporate roles that required strong quantitative skills, and I’ve also volunteered with a non-profit that provides tutoring support to underprivileged middle and high school students preparing for college.
My own journey with math started with struggles in middle school, but I eventually excelled in high school and went on to earn an undergraduate degree in mathematics. I also hold a master’s degree.
Having experienced firsthand how much of an impact math and quantitative skills can have on a person’s professional life, I’m passionate about helping others improve these skills so they can have more opportunities in their future education and careers.
Jacqueline
Instructor
I’m a senior at South Iredell High School, and I hope to attend UNC Chapel Hill to major in biology on a pre-med track. I’ve always enjoyed working with kids, whether it’s helping them with math or teaching them piano.
I’m excited to create an environment that inspires a passion for math and helps students build confidence in their abilities.

Mathnasium provides premium value by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low. There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly—much like a gym membership. We recommend that they attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout. Pricing varies by program and geographic area. Contact our center for more details on enrollment packages.
We use the Mathnasium Method™, a proprietary teaching approach which combines personalized learning plans with proven techniques to build math knowledge upon what students already know, so they're able to retain what they learn and gain confidence along the way.
No. All learning occurs under the efficient and effective guidance of our trained instructors. Adding homework would risk frustration and overload. In fact, we'll set aside some time each session to help your student with their school homework.
This is your opportunity to try out our program and see if it is a good fit (we know it will be)! **...
