David is the Center Director at Mathnasium of Moraga-Orinda. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Mathematics Teaching Credential and previously taught high school math at Dublin High. David is passionate about helping students not only learn to love math but also develop a lifelong love of learning.
He believes that learning is an endless journey that enriches life in every stage. Outside of the center, David enjoys solving puzzles, playing chess, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends.
Shreya is the multi-center owner of Mathnasium of Moraga-Orinda and other locations. Before launching her Mathnasium journey, she worked in the nonprofit, fintech, and consulting industries. She holds an MS in Business Analytics from the University of Texas at Austin and a BS in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kanpur.
A lifelong math enthusiast, Shreya is committed to helping every child in the community build confidence and true understanding in math. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Emily is the Assistant Center Director of Mathnasium of Moraga-Orinda. She previously served as President of the Board of Directors for Lafayette Nursery School. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Academy of Art University and her Real Estate License. Emily strives to make math fun for students and to build confidence in their math skills. In her spare time, Emily’s favorite activities include beach days with her family, painting and reading.
Lindsay is a senior at CSU Monterey Bay studying Mathematics. She plans to pursue an M.S. in Pure Math after her undergraduate studies. She likes forming connections with students through math and watching them progress! In her spare time she enjoys concerts, sudoku, hanging out with her friends, and learning as many digits of pi as possible.
Hi, my name is James! I'm currently a senior at Campolindo High School with a passion for engineering and programming. I enjoy teaching others and I love explaining concepts to others and seeing them understand. I joined Mathnasium to help students get the flow of problem solving and learn to enjoy it. In my free time I enjoy biking, video games, and reading about politics.
Hi, my name is Andrew, I am currently a sophomore at Saint Mary’s college studying math and finance. I’ve always had a love for numbers since I was a kid, and at mathnasium, I hope to share that with the kids and help them improve while having fun doing math. Outside of school, I’m big into sports and love playing basketball.
My name is Ashley and I’m a Senior this year at Miramonte High School. I love listening to music, reading and finding new places to eat with my friends. I’ve taken up to AP Calculus and I’m excited to teach at Mathnasium!
Hi! I’m Arshan. I’m a Senior at UC Berkeley studying Economics. I love Math because everything that exists can be represented by Math and that is very exciting.
Hi, I’m Taylor! I am thrilled to be an instructor at Mathnasium! I have a bachelor’s degree in Biology from UC Santa Cruz. I have always had an appreciation for mathematics and the enjoyment that comes with explaining concepts to students and seeing them gain confidence with the material. In my free time, I love going for runs, hiking and spending time with friends and family.
Academically, I have a Bachelor of Computer Science with a personal fascination with abstract algebra and discrete mathematics. While attending college, I made it my job to help the students who struggled to make sense of their professors’ teaching constructs. I am currently pursuing a second degree in Civil Engineering, owing to my affinity for diagnosing and drafting solutions for infrastructure problems (including those at the household level.)
