Mathnasium COVID Slide:
loss of learning due to COVID-19 school closures
Mathnasium COVID Protocol
We’re pleased to share that our center has resumed in-person instruction as of Monday, June 15th. Our goal is to combat learning loss, ease the transition from this school year to the next, and ensure that students begin the next school year with confidence.
Students will be allowed to continue with our @home program, switch to our in-center program, or do a combination of both types of sessions. If you would like to enroll in our program, the first step is to schedule an assessment. The assessment can be done either in-person or @home.
As always, your child’s well-being is our top priority. Below you will find the steps we are taking to reopen safely. We are continuing to monitor the latest guidance from state and local health authorities and will adapt our procedures as needed.
In the interest of everyone’s safety, we are limiting the number of students who can attend the center at any one time so that we can observe social distancing guidelines. We will not be allowing more than 15 people (students + instructors) in the center at a time.
Students attending in-center sessions must have a recurring appointment in order to maintain stable groups of students attending each time.
Instructors and students will be required to wear masks while in-center.
If your child is sick or exhibiting symptoms of respiratory illness, including fever or cough, please stay home and call us in advance.
Instructors and students will have their temperature checked upon arrival. Anyone who is sick or exhibiting symptoms of respiratory illness, including fever or cough, will be asked to return home.
We are also implementing a comprehensive disinfection and protection protocol to make sure that surfaces are clean and disinfected on a regular basis and in between sessions. All instructors and students will have access to hand sanitizer, and will use it upon entering and leaving the center.
