Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.


Lead Instructor
Christian is a college student at Cal. State Monterey Bay majoring in Mathematics. He has been working with Mathnasium since Fall 2020. He finds purpose in supporting others and enjoys helping students reach a greater understanding of difficult math concepts. With the goal of becoming a math professor post-graduation, Christian hopes to learn alongside the students at Mathnasium while helping them develop their own computational abilities.


Center Instructor
Thomas is currently a student at Mission College. He loves to interact with the students, helping them learn how to do math, and can confidently teach up to Algebra 2. Loves to play a variety of card games, such as Pokemon, Yugioh, and Uno. He will put the best of his efforts to teaching any person who needs help in any subject.


Center Instructor
Samantha is currently a junior at Ann Sobrato High School taking a variety of STEM classes, including Calculus AB. She has been participating in extracurricular math programs since first grade and loves sharing what she has learned with others. She has always enjoyed working with kids and has volunteered as a camp counselor for several local summer camps including Funshine Day Camp. Outside of school, Samantha enjoys leading tech with her school theatre program and doing martial arts.


Center Instructor
Yash is currently a sophomore at Ann Sobrato High School. He loves doing all types of math, and has taken Calculus AB in school. He has also done competitive math competitions such as the AMC 10, Math Olympiad, and MathCounts. He loves to teach kids and help them overcome any struggles they have with math. In his free time, Yash enjoys playing golf and spending hours on challenging math problems.


Center Instructor
Ray is currently a senior at Ann Sobrato High School. He loves doing advanced math, and has taken Calculus AB and competitive math. He has also participated in MathCounts and Math Olympiad throughout elementary and middle school. He enjoys teaching kids and helping them work their way through the problems. He also enjoys helping his little sister in math. In his free time, Ray likes to listen to music and play volleyball.


Center Instructor
Khiem is a recent graduate from Ann Sobrato High School. Currently, he is taking classes at De Anza College. After community college, he wants to transfer to university as a Computer Engineering major. Khiem has experience as an AP Calculus AB tutor for Ann Sobrato's Peer Tutoring Club. He enjoys doing math problems and interacting with others. In his free time, Khiem likes taking walks around his neighborhood and playing basketball.


Center Instructor
I am a senior at Live Oak High School. I have always been in advanced math and have taken up to Calculus BC. Math has been my strongest subject, and I enjoy teaching it to others. I have worked with kids for school track camps for the past 3 years, and have enjoyed teaching younger kids more about the sport. My hobbies outside of school include reading and running.

Sekhar Potluri

Center Owner
Sekhar has always loved math and enjoys being around the kids and helping them learn to enjoy math. Sekhar has a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and spent 18 years in IT, Retail Management, and other business ventures, but he always wanted to spend the rest of his life doing what he loves the most, teaching children. He believes that the Mathnasium method of teaching math can change a child’s attitude towards math and help them develop a deep understanding of “number sense.” Sekhar and his team at Mathnasium of Morgan Hill are committed to helping children grow their interest and confidence in math, and are very proud to bring the Mathnasium Method to your children in Morgan Hill.


Marketing Manager
Ryan is a business marketing undergraduate student in his final year at San Jose State University. He is a new addition to our marketing team starting in September 2023. He has prior working experience in an educational setting, volunteering at a local elementary school as an academic mentor. Outside of this, Ryan's passion lies in fashion, as he enjoys styling for brands and thrifting with his friends. In his free time, he also enjoys basketball and skateboarding.


Marketing Coordinator
Courtney is currently attending San Jose State University, as a Design Studies major! She is expected to graduate in May of 2024. She is a new addition to the marketing team as of October 2023. She has prior work experience in an educational setting, as a Academic Operations Administrator. In her free time, she enjoys playing with her pets, trying new foods, and shopping!


Marketing Coordinator
Bea is an undergraduate student at San Jose State University majoring in Business Marketing. Joining our marketing team in February 2024, Bea has prior experience from her previous roles as an Events Marketing Coordinator for a cosmetic brand and as an Academic Instructor where she passionately guided children in reading and writing. She enjoys the hobbies of baking sweets and reading books.
