Crystal Waldo

Crystal Waldo

Center Director
Crystal graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education emphasis in Mathematics. Crystal is an enthusiastic educator eager to take her professional career to the next level. She has used her diverse experience with students online and in person to connect and understand how students learn. She now is using her talents and diverse skills gained through teaching and management to benefit the needs of Mathnasium.

Dr. Loretta Westry

Executive Director
Dr. Westry graduated from University of Montevallo with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Auburn University at Montgomery with a Master of Arts degree in Mathematics and Mathematics Education and Walden University with a PhD in Mathematics Education, Leadership and Curriculum. She has taught in both private and public schools and the last 13 years as a college professor. Having taught over 20 years she is a distinguished educator who cares deeply and sincerely about students, their education, and ensuring their success.

Dr. Douglas Childers

Online Lead Instructor
Dr. Childers is a teacher and tutor of mathematics for all ages. Doug has a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Alabama. In addition to working at Mathnasium, Doug teaches at Georgia Military College in Warner Robins, GA. Doug spends the weekends and the summers with his three sons. In his free time Doug loves to throw frisbee and read scary stories.
