Students Celebrate Pi Day with Annual Art Contest

Mar 14, 2021 | Mountain View-Los Altos

Every year, in honor of Pi Day, Mathnasium of Mountain View-Los Altos hosts a Pi Day Art Contest. We are always so impressed by the level of creativity and excitement each year, and although we were unable to celebrate together in person this year, we hope you all had a great Pi Day!

From all of the entries that we received, we chose not 1, but 3 winners! Check out the winning entries below (in no particular order):

Nicole C. made her image 3D by including many mini circular beads within the larger circle surrounding our good friend, Pi!

Logan O. cut out the borders of each word/image on the coloring sheet to create a shimmery, holographic accent to the page!

Levy N. created quite the story with his entry! What do we do when Planet Earth is being destroyed? Build a new life on Planet Pi, of course!

We also had some incredible Honorable Mentions from Luke C., Julia W., and Artem M.: pi day 2022 honorable mentions.JPG

We can't wait to see what our students come up with next year!
