I am the Center Director and part-owner of Mathnasium of Mount Dora! As an educator and math enthusiast, I am passionate about empowering students to develop a love for math. Math wasn’t always my strongest subject, but discovering teaching styles that work for me and being surrounded by passionate educators completely changed my perspective.
With a Master’s degree in education and experience teaching students across different ages and skill levels, I’ve seen firsthand how a strong math foundation builds confidence and life skills. Each teaching experience has reinforced the importance of meeting students where they are and helping them grow.
At Mathnasium of Mount Dora, we help students catch up, keep up, or get ahead, all while fostering confidence and a love for learning. We create a fun, engaging environment through our proven Mathnasium Method, making math fun and building not just skills but a welcoming community for all types of learners.
I’m one of the owners and operators at Mathnasium of Mount Dora. As an Engineer, I bring years of experience leading complex projects for companies like Disney, IMAX, and TransUnion into an area that matters deeply to me: helping students thrive in math. After a career spent building strong teams and guiding large technology and infrastructure initiatives, I wanted to put my skills to work in a way that directly impacts families and the community. That path led me to Mathnasium, where I can combine structure, leadership, and a passion for education to create a learning environment where kids feel supported and capable.
At my center, I’m committed to making sure every student feels understood and confident from the moment they walk in. I work closely with families to identify each child’s unique needs and oversee a team of trained instructors who deliver personalized instruction in a friendly, fun, and encouraging way. Whether a student is catching up, keeping up, or getting ahead, my goal is to reduce stress, build lasting confidence, and show them that they are capable of far more than they imagine—not just in math, but in themselves.
Hi! I’m Geetika, a high school student with a passion for math and problem-solving. I enjoy helping students gain confidence by making complex concepts easier to understand. My goal is to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where every student feels capable of success.

Hello! I'm Isabella, a current undergraduate studying Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at UCF. I love helping students understand math better with each problem. I do my best to make math less daunting for all students.
Hi, I’m Christopher!
I’m an Electrical Engineering student at the University of Central Florida. Before studying engineering, I started in trade school as an electrician, where I learned how important math and problem-solving are in real-world work. That experience helped lead me toward electrical engineering, where I’ve continued developing my skills in applied mathematics and physics.
I’ve also worked as a physics TA, which gave me the opportunity to help students work through challenging concepts and build confidence. At Mathnasium, I enjoy breaking problems into smaller, more manageable steps and helping students understand the “why” behind what they’re learning. I know math can be frustrating at times, so my goal is to make it feel easier to comprehend and help students become more confident problem-solvers.
Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.
