Matthew is an applied mathematics major at the University of Pittsburgh. He enjoys exploring how math appears in nature and music and finds joy in sharing that perspective with students. A trivia enthusiast, he regularly watches shows like Jeopardy! to broaden his knowledge. Matthew memorized 130 digits of pi and considers it his favorite number.
His goal is to earn a graduate degree and become a college professor. He enjoys helping students unlock understanding at Mathnasium and finds it rewarding to combine his love of math and teaching.
Nitish is one of the youngest instructors at Mathnasium of Mount Lebanon. A lifelong Pittsburgh resident, he is trilingual in English, Hindi, and Spanish. Nitish is passionate about both math and mentoring and chose to combine these interests through tutoring.
He hopes to pursue a career in medicine and finds that math builds the critical thinking skills essential to that path. He’s a big fan of football and basketball, and his favorite travel destination is Iceland. Nitish enjoys making math more accessible and fun for every student he works with.
