Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.


Brandon studied math and physics at Monmouth College, where he also was a math tutor. Brandon likes helping students gain an intuitive understanding of math and complex concepts. In his free time, Brandon enjoys hanging out with family and friends, cooking, reading, and learning about anything related to space and quantum physics!


Aidan worked with middle school students during high school. He likes working with anyone to help them understand and enjoy math. Aidan has a very dry sense of humor and loves to talk about almost any topic. In his free time, he likes to play deck building games, board games, and Dungeons & Dragons.


Andrej is a former Instructor and Head Tutor at the School of Computer Science, DePaul University, Chicago. He worked in the informatics, transportation, and the financial industry. During his career, he was involved in new employee training and mentoring. His tutoring is based upon the idea that mathematics can be explained in a simple way that allows a student to pass an examination and perhaps even spark interest in natural science. In his free time, he’s active in sports, enjoys listening to or playing music, and traveling. Fun Fact: Andrej loves to play and teach Go, a traditional Japanese strategy board game.


Rani is a junior at Prospect High School and has mastered high school math up to pre-calculus. She is on the district robotics team and devotes her free time to teaching young children about STEM through the middle school robotics program and STEM workshops her team hosts. She hopes to continue her education and go into the statistics field. At Mathnasium, Rani strives to help kids excel in math while still having fun! Fun Fact: Rani was a classical ballet dancer for 8 years and is an ENTP on the Myers-Briggs personality test.


Nikhil is a student at John Hersey High School and is currently taking AP Calculus. He is part of his school's Science Olympiad team and tennis team. In the past he worked as an online SAT tutor as well as a camp counselor for the local park district. In his free time he does graphic design and plays video games. Fun fact: Nikhil is the manager of the high-school esports team.


Oksana has worked in education for over 25 years. She has worked as a preschool teacher, a music instructor, and support staff in an elementary school. Oksana is very passionate about math, she likes to work on math problems together with students. Oksana went to college in Ukraine, where she studied music and education. Fun fact: Oksana plays and teaches violin.
