Kurt originally worked as an instructor at Mathnasium from 2021 until 2023 and has since returned. He enjoys seeing students progress in their studies of math and grow to be confident in academic settings. When not working, Kurt enjoys trying new restaurants and ethic stores, going for walks, and listening to music.
Gerry retired from Corporate life at the end of 2021. He has a B.S. degree in Quantitative Methods (statistics) from the University of Illinois-Chicago and spent his early career as an Actuary working for a national insurance company. Upon changing companies, he entered the Information Technology field and was fortunate enough to be at the forefront of many technological innovations over the following 30+ years; rising to the level of Vice President of Application Development and Director of Business Continuity. Having tutored his own children, and having a life long love of math, he is happy to have the opportunity to give back to our youngest generation at Mathnasium!
Sudhakar Parthasarathy is the dynamic and dedicated owner of the Mathnasium of Mt. Prospect. Holding a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and bringing over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and academia, Sudhakar utilizes his deep scientific expertise to foster an enriching educational environment. His tenure as an adjunct faculty member at various Chicago community colleges over the years has equipped him with valuable insights into diverse learning styles, which he adeptly applies to help each student reach their full potential. Sudhakar firmly believes that every child can excel in math with the right guidance and encouragement. His exceptional ability to connect with students and make math enjoyable has made him a trusted and beloved figure within the community
