Alicia Ireland

Assistant Center Director

Alicia holds a B.S. in Mathematics and Secondary Education with a minor in Social Justice and Psychology from Cabrini University. She currently teaches math and science at The Bridge Academy in New Jersey. Alicia strives to be a great teacher who is always there for her students. Alicia says: "Math is what you make of it. It can be fun as long as you believe it is. Every mistake helps you learn, improve, and succeed." 

Warren Fritz

Lead Instructor

Warren earned a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Ursinus College and a M.S. degree in Computer Science from Villanova University. For over 35 years he worked in IT application development. Now that he is retired, he  enjoys sharing his knowledge of math with students. Warren says, "My goal will always be to help students gain more confidence with handling various math challenges". 

Tianjiao (Jill) Ma

Instructor

Tianjiao is known to her friends and family as Jill. Jill holds a Master's degree in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. She also holds a Limited Instructional Certification of Eligibility (CE) for teaching Mathematics in New Jersey. Jill gained valuable teaching experience while completing her course work as a teaching assistant as well as doing Math tutoring at various schools in Pennsylvania. Jill says "I have a passion for educating students to engage with mathematics meaningfully, and I believe that every student can learn math with the right mindset and instruction."

Jessica Simber

Lead Instructor

Jessica started working at Mathnasium of Mt. Laurel shortly after it opened in 2016. Jessica holds a B.A. in Mathematics and a B.A. in Subject Matter Education from Rowan University. She worked as an adjunct professor at Rowan College teaching developmental math courses. In that capacity, Jessica quickly observed the misconceptions students developed in earlier years, and worked to restructure and repair students' understanding of the "nuts and bolts" of mathematics. Jessica says: "I see math problems as puzzles that need solving and hope to help students also see math as a fun puzzle to be solved instead of an overwhelmingly complicated chore." 

Rasmita Sahoo

Instructor

Rasmita holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, and a postgraduate diploma in Computer Applications. Rasmita gained valuable experience teaching math while working previously as a math tutor at another facility before joining the Mathnasium team.

Brittney Nobles

Instructor

Brittney holds a B.S. in Chemistry, Summa Cum Laude from Norfork State University, and completed several higher math courses including Statistics and Calculus III.  Brittney also attained MBA and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from Mercer University.

Patrick Jacobs

Instructor

Partick holds B.S. degrees in Physics and Chemistry from North Carolina Central University, and is on track to receive a Masters degree in Mathematics in May 2025.

Tessa Gomez

Instructor

Tessa is a senior of Paul VI High School. She has completed AP Pre-Calculus and is now taking AP Calculus BC and many other AP classes. Tessa has a passion for volleyball and sudoku. 

Akhilesh Pulavarti

Shreeya Soma

Instructor

Shreeya is a senior at Lenape High School. Having successfully completed Honors Pre-Calculus and AP Calculus AB, Shreeya is now taking AP Calculus-BC along with several other Honors classes. Shreeya loves sports and will be playing Field Hockey this fall.

Akshya Amarnath Rao

Instructor

Akshya is a senior year at Lenape High School. Akshya has already completed AP Calculus AB and is currently taking AP Calculus BC. Akshya has a passion for math, and she finds it fulfilling to be able to share that passion and help students gain a better understanding and appreciation of math concepts.
