Meet the Team at Mathnasium of Mt. Laurel

Alicia Ireland

Alicia holds a B.S. in Mathematics and Secondary Education with a minor in Social Justice and Psychology from Cabrini University. She currently teaches math and science at The Bridge Academy in New Jersey. Alicia has been with Mathnasium since 2018. She strives to be a great teacher who is always there for her students. Alicia says: "Math is what you make of it. It can be fun as long as you believe it is. Every mistake helps you learn, improve, and succeed." Fun Fact: Alicia is a nerd at heart. She loves shows like Dr. Who, Sherlock, anything anime related, etc.

Warren Fritz

Hi, my name is Warren Fritz. I have been a Math Instructor at Mathnasium of Mt. Laurel since summer of 2021. I earned a B.S. degree in Mathematics from Ursinus College and a M.S. degree in Computer Science from Villanova University. For over 35 years I worked in IT application development. Now that I am retired I enjoy sharing my knowledge of math with students. My goal will always be to help students gain more confidence with handling various math challenges. Favorite hobbies include watching a lot of college and pro football, and I am a diehard Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Akshya Amarnath Rao

Akshya is entering her senior year at Lenape High School. Akshya has already successfully completed AP Calculus AB and will be moving on to AP Calculus BC in the coming school year. Akshya has a passion for math, and she finds it fulfilling to be able to share that passion and help students gain a better understanding and appreciation of math concepts.

Tianjiao (Jill) Ma

Tianjiao is known to her friends and family as Jill. Jill holds a Master's degree in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. She also holds a Limited Instructional Certification of Eligibility (CE) for teaching Mathematics in New Jersey. Jill gained valuable teaching experience while completing her course work as a teaching assistant as well as doing Math tutoring at various schools in Pennsylvania. Jill says "I have a passion for educating students to engage with mathematics meaningfully, and I believe that every student can learn math with the right mindset and instruction."

Jessica Simber

Jessica started working at Mathnasium of Mt. Laurel shortly after it opened in 2016. Jessica holds a B.A. in Mathematics as well as a B.A. in Subject Matter Education from Rowan University. She has worked as an adjunct professor at Rowan College where she taught developmental math courses. In that capacity, Jessica quickly observed the misconceptions students developed in earlier years, and worked to restructure and repair students' understanding of the "nuts and bolts" of mathematics. Jessica says: "I see math problems as puzzles that need solving and hope to help students also see math as a fun puzzle to be solved instead of an overwhelmingly complicated chore." Fun fact: I enjoy solving all types of puzzles - jigsaw, crossword, Sudoku, cryptograms.

Rasmita Sahoo

Rasmita holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, and a postgraduate diploma in Computer Applications. Rasmita gained valuable experience teaching math while working previously as a math tutor at another facility before joining the Mathnasium team.

Shreeya Soma

Shreeya is a senior at Lenape High School. Having successfully completed Honors Pre-Calculus and AP Calculus AB, Shreeya is now taking AP Calculus-BC along with several other Honors classes. Shreeya loves sports and will be playing Field Hockey this fall.

Ella Hashimoto

Ella is a rising senior at Lenape High School. She will be taking AP Calculus BC in the Fall of 2024. Ella loves music and her favorite instrument is the trumpet. In fact, she is a dedicated member of her school band.

Ryan Storms

Ryan is a graduate of The Bridge Academy of New Jersey where he successfully completed all his high school math courses up to the Calculus level with straight A's. He is now a freshman at Franklin & Marshall College.

Meghna Parija

Meghna is currently a senior at Lenape High school. She enjoys playing tennis.
