Gabe started with Mathnasium in 2019 as an Instructor at South Escondido while completing his degree. He later became Lead Instructor and Assistant Center Director before joining Mathnasium of Murrieta. Through this journey, he discovered a new love for math, realizing that Mathnasium’s strategies finally solved the “math mysteries” he had as a kid.
Gabe earned his Bachelor’s in Computer Science from CSU San Marcos and is pursuing a Master’s in Software Engineering at CSU Fullerton. Since moving to Murrieta in 2024, he has loved helping students build confidence and discover how fun math can be.
Charles holds degrees in Mathematics and Economics from UC San Diego. Math has always come naturally to him, making it no surprise that he is a skilled and thoughtful instructor. He enjoys working with students, especially those with bright and eager personalities, and he strives to show them that math can be fun and approachable.
Charles believes in the importance of building both skills and confidence, and he enjoys seeing students begin to enjoy a subject they may have once found challenging.
Sean is completing his Associate's degree in General Biology at MSJC and plans to transfer to Cal State San Marcos to pursue a Bachelor's in Biology. He hopes to become a biology teacher, but his passion for math has remained strong throughout his education. Sean was a member of his middle school’s Mathletes club and still enjoys the logic and structure of math.
Outside of Mathnasium, Sean enjoys drawing, hiking, cooking, and playing Dungeons and Dragons with his friends. He loves helping students approach math with curiosity and confidence.
Jessica first found her passion for tutoring math when she started college and worked as a tutor for MSJC. She's held various tutoring positions since then where she's gotten to work with students of all ages and levels, each of them igniting her passion more. She loves supporting students through the ups and downs of the learning process while helping them gain confidence in their own abilities.
She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from UCR and she hopes to carry what she's learned from her students and from being an instructor into a Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy or a career in teaching! Outside of Mathnasium, she loves to read books, bake, and play the piano. She loves learning new, fun and calming hobbies!
Andre is studying Computer Science at MSJC and working toward his Associate's degree. He enjoys working out, cooking, and playing video games, and he finds inspiration in all forms of music and its emotional impact.
Andre believes that anyone can succeed in math when given the space to ask questions and make mistakes. He works to create a welcoming learning environment where students feel confident and excited to grow, because that’s when math becomes both fun and meaningful.
Fayana is a senior at St. Jeanne Catholic High School and plans to pursue a pre-medical track at a four-year university. She is passionate about music and performs with her band, Vertigo, on electric guitar, keyboard, and vocals. She also enjoys a variety of creative hobbies, including scrapbooking, crocheting, photography, fashion, playing video games, and collecting figures and plushies. Fayana greatly enjoys working with students and finds it rewarding to watch them develop confidence and a love for math, especially in subjects that they struggled with previously. She believes that every student can succeed with the right guidance and encouragement.
Ben is a graduate of Julian Charter School’s home study program and is currently taking computer science and coding classes at MSJC. Math has always come easily to him, and he enjoys using his skills to help others succeed.
In his free time, Ben enjoys cooking, baking, and gaming. He brings a calm and patient presence to the center and enjoys watching students grow in both skill and confidence.
Jamie began her Mathnasium journey in 2016 as an instructor at Mathnasium of Murrieta and quickly advanced to Center Director roles across the Inland Empire and Orange County. Today, she supports the Murrieta and Temecula centers as Director of Operations.
She earned her Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from UC Riverside. Jamie enjoys seeing students experience those “lightbulb” moments and takes pride in helping families reduce math-related stress. In her free time, she enjoys trying new boba spots, exploring photography, and spending time with her dog.
