McKenzie Peters

Instructor
McKenzie thoroughly enjoys helping students discover their passion for mathematics! She is currently a senior at Providence Day School and has filled her high school years being involved in the Honor Council, Asset Management Board, and both the Spanish and Chinese programs. She looks forward to attending college in the fall, where she plans to major in Business. McKenzie has been part of our team for over a year and has loved watching the students grow as mathematicians and as people. Her main goal is to always bring a positive attitude to the center, and she is confident that every student can reach their goals while having fun!

Tanisha Jones

Tanisha has been freelance-tutoring since 2015. She completed her degree in Clinical Psychology with Troy University in 2017 and took a hiatus to focus on her career. Tanisha joined Mathnasium in 2021. “I love the company culture here and how we make the curriculum fun and personalized for each student”. Outside of employment with Mathnasium, Tanisha is a Registered Behavior Technician specializing in crisis intervention and working with children diagnosed with ASD. In her free time, Tanisha enjoys outdoor activities such as rollerblading, rock climbing, hiking, and kayaking.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
