Amy Quinn

Community Relationship Manager
Amy is our Community Relationship Manager specializing in marketing and partnerships. Working with schools and other organizations within Napa to bring about more awareness of Mathnasium and the tutoring opportunities available to students within the Napa Valley. Besides in-person tutoring at our center and online tutoring, Mathnasium of Napa is now offering the opportunity to provide tutoring at schools to make things more convenient for parents. Kai Kupper

Lead Instructor
Kai is an instructor at Mathnasium with Napa. Kai is currently majoring in Mathematics at Santa Rosa Junior College. Kai believes that education is about perspective and aims to promote the learning process through conversation, socialization, and philosophy. He believes that everything you do is an extension of one's imagination and it just needs to be stimulated. With his experience in the field and the ability to tell a story through his passion for table top roleplaying games, Kai believes that he can make math fun and immersive for each of his students.

Denise McDonnel

Denise is a math instructor at Mathnasium in Napa, California. She is also a lifelong resident of the Napa Valley, and she knows the area well. Denise holds a BS degree in Environmental Analysis and Planning from the University of California, Davis, and an MA degree in Education from Chapman University. In addition, she was an Elementary School teacher in the nearby town of Vallejo for 12 years. Denise is currently retired from being a classroom teacher, but she missed working with kids so much and decided to get back into it as a math instructor at Mathnasium. Denise says that she is enjoying every minute working with the students at Mathnasium!

Sean Johnson

Sean is an instructor at Mathnasium in Napa. He is a senior at Vintage High School who loves all things math and science, and he hopes to pursue a career in astrophysics after high school. Sean also loves basketball and swimming, both of which he has spent several years doing competitively. Sean has tutored math at many different levels, and is grateful for the opportunity to spread his love of the subject to others at Mathnasium.
