If your student is in middle or high school and preparing for mid-terms, here is a list of suggestions to help maximize their review time with their Mathnasium instructor.
We can help students prepare for their mid-terms but it is important they provide items from the class that will help in this effort. Including, but not limited to:
- Exam review packets or materials provided by teacher.
- Textbook, workbooks, or ability to access online portals. If you're doing a session in-center you can bring your laptop and we'll put you on our WiFi. If you're doing an @Home session, you can take a picture of physical material and send it to us via text or email or do a screen share for online material.
- Class notes or other assignments, homework, worksheets, quizzes, tests, etc., from the school year up to this point.
While we have many resources used by schools, we do not have them all. When students share "we studied fractions that I didn't understand," as an example, that leaves a large target for us to try and narrow down to assist. It's imperative they bring their books, notes, review materials, etc.
