Hello! My name is Melanie and I have been with Mathnasium for 8 years. I have a strong STEM background with degrees in computer science and physics along with 10 years of software development experience. This may seem an unusual outcome for someone who struggled with math in elementary school. That all changed with the encouragement of a 7th grade math teacher who made math class fun. Math finally began to make sense! This experience has motivated me to help others develop a good attitude toward math and problem solving in general. I believe that with patience and positive feedback anyone can gain a better understanding of math.
Harish holds an Electronics Engineering degree from Mysore University, India, and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. A seasoned IT professional, he has extensive experience in consulting and application design.

He believes building comfort with math is key to future success in any field. At Mathnasium, he is committed to making math engaging, enjoyable, and accessible for every student.
Hi! My name is Nathan, I am a lead instructor here at Mathnasium of South Naperville and have been teaching here for over 10 years. Having earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics from Illinois Institute of Technology, my passion for math and science led me to believe math is the language of science, and should be nurtured and cherished from a young age. I have experience teaching math to all ages, and especially love working with students who are curious enough to ask about any math topic, no matter how simple or complicated it is. Here at Mathnasium, I've seen students gain confidence in themselves, becoming more driven to better themselves in academics and life. The best part is seeing a student light up the moment they truly "get" a problem and are capable of eagerly applying our methods to the fullest. I always love teaching students how to break problems up into smaller, easier problems, no matter if it's simple arithmetic or complicated algebra. My own hobbies of music composition, programming, and gaming, all use physics, logic, and probabilities on a constant basis, and the one thing they all have in common is...Math! So anytime I can help students make those connections between the math they see and reality in front of them, I will gladly do so. I strive to always help every student bring out their full potential, and hope to instill in them just as much passion for learning as I do!
Hi! My name is Aaron, and I am a Lead Instructor here at Mathnasium of Naperville. I have been at the center for over 5 years, and I enjoy having the unique opportunity to work with students over several years and seeing the skills in their math toolbox grow. I earned a B.S. in Physics from the University of Illinois - Chicago. While I haven’t faced the same challenges in math as some of our students, working at Mathnasium has helped me view mathematical concepts in a different perspective. Even as an instructor, I am constantly learning new skills and finding the best way to help make math make sense. Whether it takes a few weeks or a few months, I always enjoy students having their “Aha” moment and getting the opportunity to say “Oh, I get it now!” Seeing the confidence the students gain in math is encouraging, as that is transferred to other areas of their academic careers, from improving critical thinking skills, reading for understanding, and problem-solving skills. Students quickly begin to understand how math skills are incorporated into their everyday lives, from playing sports, music, art, and science. When I’m not at Mathnasium, I enjoy taking nature hikes, photography, and finding the next fun running race. I have completed over a dozen marathons over the past 10 years, from the Chicago Marathon to the New York City Marathon. In the summer, I’ll be the first in line for the latest Star Wars or Marvel movie. I look forward to working with the students here at Mathnasium, and showing how math isn’t about being perfect, but that with every mistake and eraser mark, lifelong skills of determination, confidence, and motivation are being developed day by day.
Hi! I am Prameet Guha, and I have been an instructor at Mathnasium of Naperville for over a year. I am currently a senior at Neuqua Valley High School, where I am passionate about astronomy, astrophysics, and computer science. My favorite subjects are math and physics, and when I am not studying, you will often find me playing the drum set, drawing, or listening to music. At school, I serve as president of three clubs - Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society, Robotics Team, and Astronomy Club. I also compete on our Science Olympiad and Math Teams. I have been fascinated by math for as long as I can remember: its logic, patterns, and real-world applications have always drawn me in. I joined Mathnasium because I love helping students shift from “This is too hard” to “I can do this!” My goal is to spark curiosity, build confidence, and share the excitement I feel for problem solving and mathematical thinking.
Hello! My name is Sarit Bose, and I am a junior at Neuqua Valley High School. I became an Instructor at Mathnasium of Naperville earlier in 2025. At Neuqua, I am actively involved in BPA, Model United Nations, and the Math Honors Society. I have always been fascinated by mathematics and its wide range of real-world applications. Teaching at Mathnasium allows me to inspire that same curiosity in students while helping them strengthen their problem solving skills. It is incredibly rewarding to build meaningful relationships with students and to watch their confidence grow as they master new concepts. One of my favorite topics to teach is fractional parts because it is exciting to see students understand and apply visual tools such as bar models and pie charts. My favorite day at the learning center is Lucky Draw because it brings energy, motivation, and joy to the entire classroom. Outside of Mathnasium, I enjoy running, playing pickleball with my friends, and supporting the Chicago Bears. I look forward to helping students build confidence, improve their math skills, and develop a lifelong appreciation for mathematics.
Hello! My name is Pranav, and I am an Instructor at Mathnasium of Naperville. I am a senior at Metea Valley High School, and I have been part of the team here for about five months. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing and watching sports, and exploring new areas of mathematics. I have always loved teaching math, and since my sophomore year, I have helped my friends and volunteered to tutor students my age at school. My passion has always been supporting students who struggle with math or who may not yet feel confident in the subject. This is exactly what drew me to Mathnasium, where we create an encouraging environment that fosters curiosity, understanding, and growth. Watching a student’s confidence rise when a concept finally “clicks” is incredibly rewarding and motivates me to give my best each day. One of my favorite topics to teach is operations with fractions because it helps students make meaningful connections between math and real world problem solving. Overall, I look forward to helping every student at Mathnasium of Naperville build strong skills, gain confidence, and truly enjoy learning math.

Hello! My name is Alia, I'm an instructor here at the Naperville Mathnasium. I started in November 2025 and one of my favorite topics to teach are linear relationships. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science at the University of Illinois and have been helping my fellow students with math since high school. I was drawn to the collaborative nature of the Mathnasium teaching framework. Students have access to a variety of different teachers and therefore a variety of explanations. It has all the tools to make learning math an exciting experience. On my own time, I enjoy plenty of creative activities, like reading, writing, and drawing. The most rewarding feeling is watching a student succeed. I'm keen on helping them achieve their math goals!
Hi! My name is Aastha, and I am an Instructor here at Mathnasium Naperville. This is my first year on the team, and I love teaching math topics ranging from grades K–9. Throughout high school, I took advanced math courses and spent several years tutoring children in a variety of math subjects. My path to Mathnasium grew from wanting a deeper, more meaningful connection to teaching students math. I’m especially passionate about helping students build confidence and experience through those “aha!” moments when a challenging topic finally clicks. One of my favorite concepts to teach is numerical fluency because I get to use hands-on manipulatives that make math more visual. Outside of Mathnasium, I love spending time with my friends and family, binging a good TV show, and playing volleyball. I look forward to helping every student discover their full potential in math!
Hello! My name is Aria and I am an instructor at Mathnasium here at Naperville. I have been teaching here since Summer 2025. I am a student of Neuqua Valley High and a former student of this very center for many years. I love teaching math because Mathnasium provides an opportunity to inspire kids to achieve their highest potential. A great aspect of this center is our amazing rewards system that motivates students to learn about math with proper incentives. I am also a music student at Neuqua and love participating in extracurricular choirs in my free time. I am also affiliated with the Peer Partners and Best Buddies programs at our high school, which helps me understand and support fellow students with special needs. I look forward to helping my students reach their fullest potential in life with math.
Hi! My name is Mariam, and I am an Instructor here at Mathnasium – Naperville. I joined the team in August, and I’m excited to help students grow their math skills and confidence! I am currently a sophomore in college studying Data Engineering. While this is my first teaching experience, I’ve quickly discovered how rewarding it is to help students grasp and master concepts they initially struggle with. There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing a student’s confidence grow when they finally “get it.” One of my favorite math topics to teach is the Cake Method, because it simplifies what can otherwise be a long and confusing process of finding all the factors of numbers. I love helping students see patterns and discover strategies that make math more approachable and fun. Outside of Mathnasium, I enjoy sewing and baking. Whether I’m creating something new in the kitchen or working on a sewing project, I love exploring my creativity and sharing the results with others. I look forward to helping all students develop their math abilities, build confidence, and enjoy the learning process!
Hi! My name is Rajeshwari Jana, and this is my first year working at Mathnasium. My passion and interest for math has led me to become an instructor here. In the past, I’ve gone to State in the ICTM (Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics) Math competition for Geometry as a Freshman, and I’ve earned the All-Honors distinction as a Sophomore in the North Suburban Math League. I am currently a Junior in high school and part of the leadership of my school’s Math Team, a role where I collaborate with advisors to create material and teach advanced math topics to my classmates. I have volunteered as a tutor with District 204's Team Tutors organization for around two and half years now. I have tutored kids from kindergarten up to 8th grade at Team Tutors, and presently, I work as part of the board to organize and administer the tutoring sessions as well. Over the years, I’ve found joy in watching students progress and become confident in their own abilities. At Mathnasium, I’m grateful to receive the opportunity to work with so many different kinds of kids and watch them learn how to love math, even when it is difficult. One of my favorite memories was when I helped a student with multi-digit addition and she became so engrossed she almost went over her Mathnasium hour. That’s the thing I love about math. It can capture all your attention and get two minds to think alike to find a solution to a problem. And when you find the solution to an especially hard problem, you feel thrilled at what you just did and how much more that means you can do. Mathnsium allows me to share that thrill with others. Outside of Mathnasium, you can find me relaxing with a good book, riding my bike with my brother, or playing piano. I am excited to see how much our students will grow as I continue to work here!
Hello! My name is Aryan Chhabra and I have been an instructor here at Mathnasium of Naperville since the summer of 2025. I am currently a junior at Neuqua Valley High School, where I am heavily involved in clubs such as SkillsUSA, Motorsport Club, and Math Honors Society. I enjoy math because of its strong applicability to real-world situations and its preciseness in how every expression, no matter how complex, leads to a definitive answer. I was drawn to Mathnasium because of its supportive, energetic environment that helps students become more confident in solving difficult problems. One of my favorite aspects of the program is the Mastery Checks. For me, there is no greater reward than being able to help a student navigate through a difficult topic and then watching that very same student succeed on the Mastery Check for that topic a few pages later. Outside of Mathnasium, I enjoy playing basketball, volleyball, and spending time with my friends and family. Overall, I look forward to helping students develop confidence, curiosity, and a love for problem-solving through math.
