Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Connor

Lead Instructor

Connor has been a dedicated Mathnasium instructor since 2021. He finds joy in helping students experience the “lightbulb moment” when concepts suddenly make sense, and he considers that moment the most rewarding part of his work.

With aspirations to earn a degree in mathematics, Connor enjoys sharing his enthusiasm for math with every student he works with. His patient and encouraging style helps students build confidence and discover that math can be enjoyable and empowering.

Matthew

Lead Instructor

Matthew is a recent graduate of the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a degree in physics. His strong enjoyment of math led him to become a tutor, where he supports students in reaching their potential and developing lasting skills.

He believes students perform best when instruction is personalized and engaging. Outside of tutoring, Matthew enjoys designing tabletop games, improving his cooking skills, and spending time with friends and family.

Noah

Lead Instructor

Noah is a graduate of Plymouth State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. They discovered a passion for teaching while tutoring fellow students in college and enjoy helping others understand and enjoy math.

Noah aspires to become a certified teacher at the middle or high school level. With a friendly, approachable style, they aim to make math less intimidating and more accessible to every student.

Stephen

Instructor
Stephen is a UMass-Lowell graduate with a degree in physics. Having grown up with a fondness for math, he loves sharing his knowledge with others. If you asked him what his favorite part of math is, he would be unable to decide as he enjoys all of them. In his spare time he can be found playing video games, being with friends in family, or petting his hyperactive golden retriever.

Richard

Owner
Richard moved to New Hampshire in 1988 while working for Digital Equipment Corporation as a software engineer. His first experience tutoring math while in high school marked the beginning of a lifetime of teaching a broad array of topics from computer science to flying to refereeing soccer and futsal. He believes it is critical for today's students to understand and master math in order to succeed in the 21st century. Mathnasium's unique curriculum and approach to teaching is just the right vehicle to make that a reality for our students.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.
