Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Connor

Instructor
Connor has been a Mathnasium instructor since 2021. His favorite thing to hear is "Oh! That makes sense now." He hopes to get a degree in mathematics in the future.

Matthew

Lead Instructor
Matthew is a recent UML graduate with a degree in physics. Having always fostered a strong enjoyment of math, he decided to take a position working as a tutor in hopes of helping students achieve their full potential in the subject. Having seen many students progress over the last several years, he believes that students are able to do their best work when support is personalized to their needs. Outside of his time working as a math tutor, he tends to spend his time working on table top game design, improving his cooking skills, and spending time with friends and family.

Jackson

Instructor
Jackson is a senior at Souhegan High School and enjoys all things STEM related. Involved in many extracurriculars, he is a member of National Honor Society, Student Activities Committee, Environmental club, Interact club, and varsity tennis. With a passion for calculus, physics, literature, Spanish, and chemistry, he is truly a Jack of all trades.

Noah

Instructor
Noah is a graduate of Plymouth State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics. They have always loved math and enjoyed teaching and passing math knowledge into others, and spent most of college tutoring other students. They hope to someday become certified to teach at the middle and high school level.

Krista

Instructor
Krista is a 33 year veteran teacher of mathematics at Lowell High School. She started her career at Lowell High as a teacher of mathematics to students who were English as a second language learners and ended her career as a teacher for the Lowell Latin Lyceum, a program for gifted students. While at Lowell High, she taught everything from business math to AP Calculus 2. She now looks forward to working with students from the Nashua area.

Stephen

Instructor
Stephen is a UMass-Lowell graduate with a degree in physics. Having grown up with a fondness for math, he loves sharing his knowledge with others. If you asked him what his favorite part of math is, he would be unable to decide as he enjoys all of them. In his spare time he can be found playing video games, being with friends in family, or petting his hyperactive golden retriever.

Richard

Owner
Richard moved to New Hampshire in 1988 while working for Digital Equipment Corporation as a software engineer. His first experience tutoring math while in high school marked the beginning of a lifetime of teaching a broad array of topics from computer science to flying to refereeing soccer and futsal. He believes it is critical for today's students to understand and master math in order to succeed in the 21st century. Mathnasium's unique curriculum and approach to teaching is just the right vehicle to make that a reality for our students.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
