Steven is originally from Manhattan, New York, and has been tutoring mathematics since 2016. With experience across a wide range of math topics and student learning styles, he believes in personalizing instruction to meet each student’s needs. Whether a student learns best through verbal, visual, algorithmic, or deductive approaches, Steven adapts to ensure clarity and confidence in math.
He is passionate about the Mathnasium Method and its focus on creating a true understanding of numbers and developing number sense. Steven is proud to be part of the Mathnasium team, helping students succeed through customized learning plans and supportive teaching methods.
Connor has been a dedicated Mathnasium instructor since 2021. He finds joy in helping students experience the “lightbulb moment” when concepts suddenly make sense, and he considers that moment the most rewarding part of his work.
With aspirations to earn a degree in mathematics, Connor enjoys sharing his enthusiasm for math with every student he works with. His patient and encouraging style helps students build confidence and discover that math can be enjoyable and empowering.
Matthew is a recent graduate of the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a degree in physics. His strong enjoyment of math led him to become a tutor, where he supports students in reaching their potential and developing lasting skills.
He believes students perform best when instruction is personalized and engaging. Outside of tutoring, Matthew enjoys designing tabletop games, improving his cooking skills, and spending time with friends and family.
Noah is a graduate of Plymouth State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. They discovered a passion for teaching while tutoring fellow students in college and enjoy helping others understand and enjoy math.
Noah aspires to become a certified teacher at the middle or high school level. With a friendly, approachable style, they aim to make math less intimidating and more accessible to every student.
