I'm Shamiran (that's Shu-mee-ron if you're wondering), and I'm honored to be a part of the Davis community. Since I was a little kid, I have wanted to show others how fun it is to play with numbers. Once I received a Bachelor's Degree from University of California, Irvine, I found what I believe is the best way to learn math: the Mathnasium Method. After 10 years of managing and consulting for learning centers all over the country, I'm excited to collaborate with the exceptional families of Davis, Woodland, and Winters. On a personal note, my friends and family tell me I'm the human version of a puppy. I love people, running around outside, and I'm always down to snack!
Hey Natomas! I'm Mercy and work as the Center Director here. I graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor's in Biological Sciences. As alluring the pre-health route was, I found community at Mathnasium through getting to know students and parents for both their academic and personal growth! It's been really fulfilling see our new center grow family by family. When I'm not in the center, I enjoy discovering new music, crocheting, and trying out new foods. Come by my desk to to chat about any of these or more :)
