Danna holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Rutgers Business School and is a Certified Public Accountant. After 10 years in corporate America, including roles at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Barclays, and CIT, Danna realized her true passion was empowering young minds. Volunteering with kindergarteners rekindled her desire to help children grow in confidence and ability.
Opening a Mathnasium allowed her to blend her love of math with her purpose: inspiring students to believe in themselves. Danna believes that confidence in math leads to confidence in life—and every child deserves that opportunity.
William brings a diverse background in education, nonprofit leadership, and curriculum development. He earned a Bachelor’s from Tulane University and a Master’s in Special Education, and has taught all K–12 levels with a strong focus on inclusive, differentiated instruction.
Passionate about learning and creating community impact, William is committed to helping each student thrive. His leadership ensures that the center remains a supportive, engaging environment where students can grow in confidence and math mastery.
Shari holds a degree in Mathematics from County College of Morris, where she graduated magna cum laude. A long-time instructor at the center, she combines deep content knowledge with a passion for helping students succeed in fun and meaningful ways.
As a mother of two Mathnasium students herself, Shari understands the parent and student journey. She brings compassion, organization, and energy to her role, ensuring every child feels supported and inspired to grow in their math abilities.
I am civil engineering major at NJIT who had worked at Union College of New Jersey previously. I taught college level algebra through Calculus 4. I have been awarded the best tutor award while at Union college. I have also been CRLA certified for teaching at the college level.
Chris graduated from Juniata College with a degree in Physics, supported by coursework in advanced mathematics. His academic background includes Calculus I–III, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, and more.
Through tutoring and peer support, Chris developed a love for helping students overcome challenges in math. At Mathnasium, he’s excited to share his enthusiasm and knowledge to show students how rewarding and empowering math can be.
David graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in Statistics and has experience in data analysis and forecasting. He has tutored a range of subjects including Algebra, Calculus, SAT Math, and the sciences.
As a former academic decathlon team captain and AP Scholar, David understands the value of mastering complex subjects and building confidence. At Mathnasium, he enjoys helping students find clarity in math and develop the skills to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
Thomas is an undergraduate student at Fairleigh Dickinson University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and a Master of Arts in Teaching. His academic background includes classes such as Calculus I, II & III, Linear Algebra, along with several education courses and being part of the Honors program. In addition to being an instructor, he serves as the Center's social media manager and has experience as a learning specialist on FDU's campus for various levels of college math. Outside of Mathnasium, he enjoys volunteering at his local animal shelter, where his own 2 cats were adopted from.
Hi, my name is Ramses. I'm graduating with an Associate of Mathematics later this year from CCM, where I'm currently serving as Treasurer of the Student Government Association for the third consecutive year. My curriculum has been centered around multiple areas of mathematics, such Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Discrete Mathematics. During my time at CCM I have had the pleasure of working with mentorship programs such as College Steps, where I was awarded honors for increasing student involvement in campus activities. Last semester the SGA President and myself successfully acquired funds for a daycare on campus for students and faculty, something we hope will encourage enrollment from parents who cannot afford child-care.
Akshaj’s love of math began as soon as he could count and has only grown since. He attended the Academy for Math, Science, and Engineering in Rockaway, NJ, one of the top STEM high schools in the state, where he took over a dozen AP courses (including AP Calculus BC) and scored a perfect 800 on the math section of the SAT. Now a Computer Science student at NJIT’s Albert Dorman Honors College, Akshaj has completed rigorous courses such as Discrete Mathematics and Linear Algebra. He is passionate about helping students build strong foundations in math and problem-solving, and he brings a patient, encouraging approach to every tutoring session. In the future, Akshaj hopes to pursue a career in machine learning engineering
I am a senior in high school and have challenged myself with various math courses over the years. In high school, I have taken Geometry, Algebra II, and AP Precalculus. I will be completing AP Calculus and AP Statistics in the coming year. For the past three years, I have been involved in research at Montclair State University that ties together concepts of math with various other subjects, including music, physics, and sports. I am passionate about math and love how it ties into real world situations. As a Mathnasium Instructor, I enjoy showing students how creative math is, and how it can be enjoyable as well as educational.
My name is Connor Walch and I am a junior in high school. I am currently enrolled in AP pre-calculus in school. I have recently completed Algebra 2 and Geometry classes as well. I have always excelled in math classes and I love teaching and helping others find or deepen the love for math that I have. I look forward to helping everyone attending!
Varshini is a dedicated educator with a strong background in math and science. She holds a degree in Neuroscience from The Ohio State University and is currently a medical student at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. She has extensive experience tutoring K–12 students in math and science, and has also served as a course assistant for advanced college-level neuroscience courses. Her academic background includes research in education-focused innovation, including the development of AR/VR STEM escape rooms for high school students through a fellowship with Apple and OSU’s Innovation Center. Varshini is especially passionate about creating equitable, engaging learning environments and integrating competency-based learning into K–12 education. She brings both a strong technical foundation and a student-centered approach to her work at Mathnasium.
I am currently a junior at Morris Hills High School, where I am part of the Magnet Program. Through this program, I’ve been fortunate to take challenging courses that have pushed me to grow academically. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to compete in several math competitions, where I’ve earned strong results and developed my problem-solving skills. I’ve also explored computer science through courses from institutions like Harvard and MIT, earning certificates along the way. Outside the classroom, I stay active by participating in Track and Field and volunteering in my local community.
I’m a 16-year-old student at Parsippany High School with a strong passion for math and business. I’ve earned first place at competitive math and business events across New Jersey and took Precalculus Honors, with plans to take AP Statistics and AP Calculus next year. I’ve been tutoring for the past six months and am an active member of my school’s math clubs. Outside the classroom, I’m also a dedicated soccer player for both my high school and a local club team. I aim to make learning approachable, clear, and confidence-boosting for every student I work with.
Soham is a senior in high school attending the Academy for Mathematics, Science, and Engineering. He has taken Calculus, Geometry, and Algebra in high school, skills that can help him break down complex problems and explain mathematical concepts clearly to students. Soham plans to pursue computer science in college, where he can continue to incorporate mathematical reasoning into programming, data analysis, and problem-solving. He is a previous winner of the Stevens Institute of Technology Math Olympiad and has interned for the New Jersey government in cybersecurity. Soham hopes to share his love for math with his students and help them build confidence in the subject.
Tatva is a senior at the Academy for Math, Science, and Engineering who loves learning and teaching math. He has taken and is taking various math-based courses such as AP Calculus BC, Calculus 3, AP Statistics, and AP Physics C. His background in teaching and education includes private tutoring in math and science, volunteering at a local nonprofit to teach STEM lessons to children with special needs, and running a STEM education nonprofit for elementary and middle schoolers. His favorite part about teaching at Mathnasium is watching a student start off a session unfamiliar or uncomfortable with a topic and improving with it by the end of the session. Tatva always strives for growth as an instructor and for his students, and he loves breaking down hard topic into small lessons to work through challenging problems with his students.
I am an Honors Student and rising senior at the Morris County Vocational School of Technology. I am a proud member of both the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society. Over the past few years, I have maintained a strong GPA while challenging myself with a full schedule of Honors and AP courses. Outside the classroom, I am actively involved in community service and work experiences that have helped me grow both personally and professionally. Hello, my name is Sanjeev, and I am currently a rising junior at Rutgers University studying Electrical & Computer Engineering. I am experienced in various mathematical subjects ranging from elementary to high school mathematics. I also have a lot of experience in college level math classes such as Probability and Statistics, Calculus I & II, Multivariable Calculus, and Differential Equations. My main goal as a tutor is to create and provide a safe and encouraging learning environment for students. Overall, I like to help students gain confidence in themselves and their academic abilities through various teaching strategies.
As a Mathnasium alum and rising senior at Morris County School of Technology, Moosa is excited to now be part of the team that helped shape his own love for math. Hello! My name is Anish Rangdal and I am a freshman at Rutgers University planning on studying Aerospace Engineering. I graduated from Livingston High School and have wanted to work with children for a good majority of my life. I discovered a passion for tutoring children at a young age in Math, Science, English, and Social Studies but really found out that I loved tutoring Math the best.
Amrita has an MBA from Bentley University and has worked in the corporate world for over 20 years. Out of academic interest, she also pursed an Associate's degree in Chemistry from the County College of Morris. She likes maths and teaching, and finds Mathnasium to be a great environment to bring these interests together. Outside of building complex financial and forecasting models at work, she enjoys helping students master foundational concepts. She is a patient, attentive educator and seeks to create an engaging learning environment for students.
Sahovan is a student at Morris County School of Technology with a strong passion for mathematics and finance. He plans to pursue a double major in Math and Business in college. Sahovan has experience working with children through nonprofit initiatives and is enthusiastic about making learning enjoyable and impactful. He finds great joy in helping students grasp new concepts—especially when he sees the excitement on their faces as everything clicks.
I’m a college student at the University of South Florida, majoring in Biomedical Sciences with the goal of becoming a doctor in emergency medicine. In high school, I conducted research in a molecular biology lab at Rutgers University and contributed to protein sequences published in the NCBI database. I am also certified to work as a lab technician through the BACE exam. These experiences have strengthened my skills in critical thinking, communication, and attention to detail. I enjoy working with students and helping them build confidence in their academic abilities.
As a rising senior at Morris County School of Technology, Mithil brings a strong background in advanced mathematics, having taken accelerated math courses since middle school. This year, he will be taking Analytical Geometry & Calculus and Probability & Statistics. As a Mathnasium instructor, he’s excited to use his knowledge to help students strengthen their skills, build confidence, and find success in math—just as he has throughout his own academic journey.
Charvi is currently a senior at Montville Township High School who loves teaching and learning math. In school, she takes advanced math courses including AP Calculus BC and Multivariable Calculus. In the future, she aspires to pursue a degree in computer science. Beyond the classroom, Charvi is an active member of her school and local community. She volunteers regularly, holds leadership roles in various school clubs, and brings that same dedication to Mathnasium. Charvi has worked with students across various grade levels and is committed to making math engaging and fun for every student who walks through the door.
Max is a rising senior at Morris County School of Technology. With a strong interest in mathematics and a passion for helping others succeed, he is driven to help the next generation understand various topics. He will be taking courses in Calculus and Statistics this year at CCM, and is eager to apply what he learns in the classroom to his work with students. Previous achievements for Max include scoring a 760 for the math section of the SAT, as well as making honor roll for the entirety of his high school career. At Mathnasium, he values the opportunity to make math more approachable and rewarding for learners of all ages.
My name is Aditi Guha, and I am a senior at Parsippany High School with a strong passion for math and education. I have completed advanced math courses including Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus, and am currently taking Calculus at the County College of Morris. I am an active member of both the National Honor Society and the Math Honor Society, and I also compete on my school's Math Team. Outside of school, I intern with NASA's Aviation Systems Division and have experience teaching elementary-aged students Python, robotics, and CAD at a local church. I love working at Mathnasium because it gives me the opportunity to help students build confidence in their math skills.
Ekta Dhotre is an incoming freshman at Seton Hall University, where she will be majoring in Psychology on a pre-med track. She has been working as a math tutor at Mathnasium of Parsippany since August 2023, helping students of various grade levels strengthen their understanding and confidence in math. Prior to becoming a tutor, Ekta was a dedicated Mathnasium student herself from 2021 to 2023, which gives her a unique perspective on the student experience and learning journey. She also used to work independently as a tutor through Give Chances Inc., supporting students in grades 2–9 with both homework and foundational math concepts. Ekta is passionate about helping others succeed and tries her best to bring patience, clarity, and enthusiasm to every session she teaches.
Katherine is currently a student in Parsippany High School. She is an honors student that takes her academics very seriously. Katherine used to be a student in Mathnasium, so she understands the importance of math and how the students may feel when it comes to math. She enjoys math and wants to help people so that they can have a better understanding of the subject. She aspires to major in math in the future.
My name is Avni Vyas, and I am a dedicated high school student with a strong passion for math and education. I love helping students grow their confidence and skills in math. Academically, I have taken rigorous coursework including AP Economics, Precalculus Honors, Algebra 2 Honors, and AP Physics. As a rising senior, I plan to take AP Calculus, AP Statistics, AP Physics, and AP Chemistry this year. I’m actively involved in clubs such as Academic Decathlon, Math Team, and Science Olympiad, and I serve as the Co-Vice President of Academic Decathlon. I look forward to continuing to share my enthusiasm for learning and math with the students at Mathnasium.
Anirudh is a senior at the Academy for Math, Science, and Engineering. He has taken a variety of math-based courses such as AP Calculus, Math Analysis 1 and 2, AP Physics, and AP Computer Science. He also has experience tutoring students in algebra and SAT/ACT math. He is the co-founder of the non-profit organization STEM powering, which is dedicated to empowering future generations through STEM. He is hoping to foster a passion for mathematics amongst all of the students at Mathnasium.
I am a high school student at Parsippany High School. I have completed up till Honors Precalculus and is going into AP Calculus BC next year. I am also a top member of the school’s math team. I have done business math as well for business competitions such as DECA. On the side I also tutor high school math to peers.
Nikhil is an upperclassman at the Academy for Math, Science, and Engineering. He has completed advanced coursework in Geometry, Algebra I and II, and Precalculus. He continues to challenge himself by taking the most rigorous math courses available. Before working as an instructor Nikhil volunteered at Mathnasium for several years and also gained experience tutoring in both math and chemistry. Nikhil has a strong passion for applying mathematics in fields like computer science and AI. He was recognized with a Certificate of Honor by the Harvard Computer Society for his performance in their AI Bootcamp, and is also a recipient of the AP Scholar Award. Nikhil enjoys helping students build a strong foundation in math and develop confidence through problem-solving.

Hi, my name is Rutva. I have been a instructor at Mathnasium since November 2024. I am currently a junior at Parsippany High School, and I have completed Algebra 2 and will continue to learn Precalculus and Calculus. Moreover, throughout high school I have been a active member of the math team and have placed highly in many events. I am a honors student and have maintained high grades throughout high school, especially in math classes. I am also extremely interested in Computer Science and hope to major in it during college. Outside of school, I tend to stay busy by playing soccer for my school and refereeing soccer for Parsippany Soccer Club.
Hi! My name is Ruhi Kamdar, and just graduated from the Academy for Math, Science, and Engineering this past spring. This fall, I will be attending the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign to study Bioengineering. Throughout high school, I challenged myself with rigorous coursework, including AP Calculus BC, AP Physics 1, and AP Physics C, and earned High Honor Roll every quarter. Outside the classroom, I was involved in a range of extracurriculars including playing piano, competing in debate tournaments, and serving as a member of the Girls Varsity Tennis Team. My favorite classes in school are my math and science courses. In school, I have always taken rigorous courses in order to push myself to the best of my ability, the same way that I will encourage my students to do so. I am a part of many different activities, such as soccer, debate, and even servicing the community.
Hello! My name is Devsi Patel, and I’m a junior at Morris County School of Technology, where I study in the Academy for Finance and International Business. I have a strong passion for math and problem-solving, and I'm currently in Pre-Calculus Honors at school. In addition to my academic work, I’ve gained experience working with younger students through volunteering and enjoy helping them build confidence in their math skills. I believe that learning math should be motivating and engaging, and I strive to bring patience, encouragement, and clarity to every session. I’m excited to be part of the Mathnasium team and to help students grow their love for math, just as I have.
I am currently a Mathematics and Computer Science student at Rutgers University. My background in mathematics includes participating in the American Mathematics Competition and serving as an active member of my high school’s math club. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to mentor students through two summer programs and have provided both general academic tutoring and chess instruction. I believe that success in math is deeply tied to how it’s taught and tailored towards individual students. My motivation along the way is that I am able to help students build confidence and curiosity.
