Jon Lorenzo

Center Director
Jon is a graduate of Rutgers University and majored in Mathematics. He has extensively undergone a variety of teaching classes and mathematics courses, including Calculus I-III, Differential Equations, Advanced Calculus I & II, Geometry, Linear and Abstract Algebra, and Probability and Statistics. He has had the privilege of working with children for over 16 years, and actively volunteers as a mentor though the Big Brothers Big Sisters program once a week. His passion for mathematics is rivaled only by his passion for teaching it, and he commits himself into making sure each student attains a firm conceptual understanding of the topics at hand.

Chris Gill

Lead Instructor
Chris graduated from Juniata College with a degree in Physics. He has taken a variety of math-based courses for his degree including Calculus I-III, Differential Equations, Linear Algebra, Mathematical Methods, and Physics. While at school he tutored many students and friends who struggled with Physics and Math, gaining a passion for helping others understand topics which intimidate or confuse them. Chris plans to share his understanding of math with a younger audience and show the many advantages of becoming an expert in mathematics.

Paul Selikson

Instructor
Paul Selikson is a New Jersey state certified Math teacher. He has taught for 15 years, first for 11 years in a public school and then for four years in a private school. Before teaching, Paul worked for years as a computer scientist and a project leader in industry. He has a BS degree with a double major in Mathematics and Computer Science from Montclair State University and an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University. At MSU, Paul studied Calculus, Probability, Statistics, Differential Equations, Linear and Abstract Algebra, and College Geometry, among other classes. He has taught middle school math (5th to 8th) and high school math (Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and Pre-Calc). He has also taught Chemistry and Physics. Paul enjoys teaching and tutoring students and hopes to improve the mathematical skills of the students at Mathnasium.

Luke Wimmer

Lead Instructor
Luke attended Anderson University for Engineering. He has taken Calculus I-III, Linear Algebra, and Physics. He has been working consistently in various forms of teaching, tutoring, and childcare for the last five years, having worked as a substitute teacher, teacher's aide, and math and science tutor. He loves teaching math and has a particular passion for helping children find the easiest methods that connect with them the most.

Nilesh Shah

Instructor
Nilesh has been teaching middle and high school math last 4 years. He has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from India. He came to the United States and got an MS in Chemical Engineering and an MS in Math and Computer Science from the University of Illinois in Chicago. He qualified for membership in American MENSA high IQ society as a result of his GRE English and Math scores. He funded his MS degrees in the USA by teaching Math to Freshmen students in college. He worked for many years as a computer scientist in IT and NYC Wall Street firms. Later, he obtained an MBA from Fordham. Nilesh enjoys teaching and looks forward to improving the math skills of students at Mathnasium.

Manju Yadav

Instructor
Bringing 14 years of experience in teaching Math, Manju is an expert with a Master of Science degree in Mathematics. Though she loves teaching challenging topics such as Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus, she feels the most passionate about Calculus. Manju loves to guide children through their work while also providing direction, support, and encouragement. Manju is proud to be part of the Mathnasium team and is enthusastic about contributing her skills to ensure an enriching math learning experience for all our students.

Zach Slotter

Instructor
Zach has an undergraduate business degree from Seton Hall University. He went back to school at Caldwell University to obtain his elementary education teacher’s certification. He has spent the last 4 years as a middle school math teacher, teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade and Algebra 1. In his spare time Zach is also a volleyball coach at the high school and travel level. He hopes to bring a fresh energy to the Mathnasium team. With his classroom experience and content knowledge he hopes to bring that creativity to help make math enjoyable.

Jessica Wimmer

Instructor
Jessica graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Psychology. She is currently in graduate school to pursue a doctorate in Psychology. As part of her degrees, she has become intimately familiar with statistics and probability, taking a total of three years of advanced statistical and research methods courses. Subsequently, she is comfortable with math and with teaching others how to do math. She also has extensive experience working with children in a variety of settings and enjoys helping others learn new things.
