• Where is Mathnasium of New Braunfels located?

  Mathnasium of New Braunfels is located in the HEB shopping center at the corner of Hwy 46 and Loop 337. We are situated between AT&T and the UPS Store, just down the road from New Braunfels High School, making it a convenient destination for local families. 

  We serve students from the northside of town, primarily northwest of I-35, including:

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment at Mathnasium of New Braunfels?

  Each student begins with a diagnostic assessment to help us understand their current skill level, identify learning gaps, and clarify their academic goals. These insights allow us to create a personalized learning plan tailored to their needs.

• How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

  At Mathnasium of New Braunfels, we use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary teaching approach that combines personalized learning plans with proven teaching techniques. 

  Building upon what the student already knows, we add new concepts gradually, breaking them down into manageable steps to help them fill in their knowledge gaps, develop solid foundational skills, and even transform how they think and feel about math.

• Do you work with advanced students or with students who are struggling with math?

  Yes. We work with students at all skill levels, whether they are looking to catch up, keep up, or get ahead on their math journey.

• Do you work with homeschooled students in New Braunfels?

  Yes. We welcome students from all educational settings, including homeschool, public, and private school families throughout New Braunfels, Seguin, and the Canyon Lake area.

• Do you help students with their math homework?

  Yes. Our tutors set aside time during each session to help students with their math homework and ensure they understand the material they are covering in school.

• Does Mathnasium assign homework to students?

  No. All instruction takes place during structured sessions at our center or online. We do not assign homework, allowing students to stay focused and make progress while working with our tutors.

• Do you prepare students for standardized tests?

  Yes. We help students prepare for standardized and school-based math assessments, including state tests, ACT®, and SAT®. Our test prep combines personalized instruction, focused practice, and proven strategies that build skill and confidence.

• Do you offer online tutoring?

  Yes. Mathnasium of New Braunfels offers both in-center and online tutoring. Whether students attend in person or online, they receive personalized, face-to-face instruction from the same specially trained tutors in a supportive and engaging group environment.

• Is there a difference between online and in-person tutoring?

  No. Students who attend online sessions receive the same quality of instruction, personalized learning plans, and group-based support as they would in our learning center.

• Is there a difference between the cost of online and in-center math tutoring at Mathnasium of New Braunfels?

  No. Our membership pricing is the same whether your child attends sessions in person, online, or through a hybrid format.
