Q: How does Mathnasium celebrate its student's success?
A: Celebrating our student's success is my favorite part of the job! I love it when a student excitedly comes to me with a big A plus on their test from school, knowing that I'm going to post it on our brag board. I make it known to all my students that their success makes me happy. Our brag board is right inside the center behind my desk: front and center for all the parents to see the success stories I post on there.
Q: Tell me about student’s reactions to having their work on the brag board.
A: Students love being on the brag board. Today alone, I was able to post 3 tests on the board and the look on their faces is unbeatable! The joy I felt when all 3 of those students came in today and that was the first thing they all told me, is incomparable to anything else!
Q: What kind of work gets put up?
A: Tests or quizzes that the student aced.
Q: Do you have a favorite memory of the Brag Board?
A: My favorite memory of the brag board was actually today when 3 students, who all came in for test prep last week, came in today excited to tell me they aced their tests that we helped them prep for!
