Geeta is the owner of Mathnasium of Newbury Park and brings over 15 years of experience in technology consulting. She has spent her career helping private and public companies implement and manage technology solutions to meet real-world needs. With STEM at the forefront of education, Geeta believes a strong foundation in math is critical for success in every field.
Her passion lies in equipping the next generation with the confidence and problem-solving skills math can offer. She believes that with the right support, any student can not only succeed in math—but truly enjoy it.
Gannon Tovey
Center Director
Gannon graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, and brings a strong love for mathematics to his role at Mathnasium. He finds great joy in helping students understand concepts that once seemed out of reach and believes that every child can thrive with the right support and encouragement.
In his free time, Gannon enjoys skiing, golfing, playing chess and video games, and watching anime. He’s passionate about creating a fun and focused environment where students feel motivated to grow in their skills and confidence.

Jay holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and studied at Moorpark College, UCLA, and CSU Channel Islands. He enjoys applying mathematical concepts to real-world problems and challenging students to do the same through interactive learning experiences.
Jay is passionate about teaching math in an engaging and relatable way. Outside the classroom, he enjoys PC gaming, creating music mixes, and watching tennis and basketball. He brings creativity and curiosity to every session, helping students see the value and fun in learning math.
