Jeremy is the dedicated owner of our Mathnasium centers, bringing a strong commitment to helping students enjoy and succeed in math. With a background in education-focused management and community engagement, he believes every child deserves to feel confident and capable.
Under Jeremy’s leadership, our centers offer a welcoming space where students can build skills, overcome challenges, and develop a lasting love for learning. He is proud to support a team that makes math meaningful and fun.
Keith works closely with both students and parents to ensure progress is clear, measurable, and meaningful. He values open communication and helps families stay engaged with the learning process, creating a strong partnership that supports student growth.
Energetic and patient, he is always ready to listen and provide guidance when challenges arise. He emphasizes deep understanding of each concept, helping students build a strong foundation that allows them to extend, connect, and apply their learning with confidence in the future.
Mr.Ising earned his Master’s degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Connecticut and has proudly served the Mathnasium community for over eight years. Outside the center, he is a devoted American football fan and proudly roots for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Emma is the Center Director at Mathnasium of Niskayuna! She is passionate about helping students enjoy math and build a strong foundation. She believes every student can succeed with the right approach and works closely with families and instructors to create a positive, encouraging learning experience.
Emma graduated from the University at Albany, SUNY, with a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science. She began her Mathnasium journey as an instructor, where she discovered how meaningful it is to help students learn and grow. Outside of Mathnasium, she enjoys disc golf, birdwatching, skiing, and board games.
Favorite math joke: What did 0 say to 8? “Nice belt!”
Mariano holds a B.S. in Mathematics from the University of Idaho and is currently a Ph.D. student in mathematics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He enjoys helping students understand concepts through clear explanations and real-world applications.
His favorite number is 2π, the circumference of the unit circle, and he brings both enthusiasm and expertise to every session. Outside of Mathnasium, Mariano enjoys baking and modifying retro video game consoles.
Favorite math joke: Why do so many mathematicians wear glasses? It improves division!
Sebastian is a graduate of the University at Albany, SUNY, with a B.A. in English. He loves learning and teaching, and enjoys and appreciates the opportunity offered by Mathnasium to do both. While working with students, he helps them stay focused and motivated while making sure to keep the environment fun and friendly.
His favorite part of the job is seeing a student's pride when they're able to master a topic they once struggled with. In his free time, Sebastian enjoys reading, writing fiction, playing video games, and spending time with his family.

Hey!! My name is Morgan. I went to college to study math and education. In addition to being part of the Mathnasium team, I am a substitute teacher at a few schools in the area. I really enjoy reading, doing yoga, and listening to music. My favorite artist is Taylor Swift, and my favorite color is green!
Risha brings a thoughtful mix of curiosity and teamwork to our team. A graduating senior at Niskayuna High School, she plans to study Neuroscience this fall, driven by a fascination with how the brain works.
Her interests extend beyond the classroom through activities like Model UN, Linguistics Club, and Yearbook Club, where she combines analytical thinking with creativity and communication.
Outside of school, Risha is an avid rower who values rhythm, perseverance, and teamwork which are qualities she brings with her to Mathnasium every day.
Ellya graduated from Hudson Valley Community College with an Associate of Science in Mathematics and loves helping students see that math doesn’t have to be intimidating. She enjoys creating a supportive environment where students can grow their skills and confidence step by step.
When she’s not at Mathnasium, Ellya is deeply involved in local musical theater, both performing on stage and with costume design. She’s also a mural artist and has contributed artwork to spaces around the Capital Region. She brings that same creativity and energy into her work with students every day.
Meet Alden, the newest addition to our instruction team! A current senior at Niskayuna High School, Alden brings a sharp, analytical mind and a passion for problem-solving to everything he does.
This fall, he’ll be heading off to Carleton College to major in Computer Science. When he’s not building innovative code or helping students, you can find him staying active on the ultimate frisbee field or navigating complex strategies in a game of Magic: The Gathering. Alden’s blend of strategic thinking and energy makes him a fantastic mentor for our community!
