Finn Cash

Instructor

Finn is a student at the University of Oklahoma studying Petroleum Engineering, Geology, and Sustainable Energy Systems. Originally from Florida, he worked as a Mathnasium Instructor there for three years before joining the Norman team. In addition to his passion for math and science, he enjoys playing both the guitar and piano.

Favorite Number:  "42. The answer to life, the universe, and everything."

Fun Fact: ""I have triple citizenship with the U.S., New Zealand, and Canada."

Favorite Math Joke: ""Three logicians walk into a bar. The bartender asks, 'Does everyone want a drink?' The first logician says, 'I'm not sure,' the second says, 'I don't know,' and the third just says, 'Yes.'"

Ethan Dyer

About Ethan
Ethan is a student at the University of Oklahoma studying Astrophysics and Mathematics. He uses math to investigate the space between galaxies, studying how light from distant quasars reveals the properties of intergalactic dust. He is currently working toward publishing research in this field, combining theoretical mathematics with observational astrophysics.

Favorite Number:
Euler’s Number, e. It appears in one of the most beautiful equations in mathematics:
e^πi + 1 = 0
This single identity connects five fundamental constants using exponentiation, multiplication, addition, and complex numbers.

Fun Fact:
If Earth kept all its mass but were compressed to about 8 centimeters in radius, roughly the size of an avocado seed, it would become a black hole.

Favorite Math Joke:
Why did the students do their multiplication on the floor?
Because they were told not to use their tables!

Why I Love Mathnasium:
I love helping students see that math is more than numbers on a page. It is a tool for understanding everything from everyday problems to the structure of the universe

Caroline Honea

Instructor

Caroline is a sophomore at the University of Oklahoma majoring in Microbiology and Accounting. She enjoys the precision and problem-solving found in both science and mathematics and brings that same thoughtful approach to working with students.

7. I just think it is cute.

Fun Fact:
I can speak Japanese, and I love anime!

Favorite Math Joke:
Why was the student upset when her teacher called her average?
Because it was a mean thing to say!

Molly Moreland

About Molly
Molly is a sophomore at the University of Oklahoma studying Industrial and Systems Engineering. She is originally from Dallas, Texas and enjoys applying math and problem-solving skills to real-world systems.

12. It is my brother and sister’s birthday and has always been my lucky number.

Fun Fact:
I played volleyball for 12 years and have worked at two different Mathnasium centers in two states.

If you're cold, go stand in the corner.
It’s 90 degrees!

I love Mathnasium because I get to help students practice and learn new things every day while continuing to learn and practice math myself.

Brielle Allee

About Brielle
Brielle is a senior at Blanchard High School. After graduating, she plans to pursue a degree in biology and hopes to become a physician.

8. I am not really sure why. I have just always liked it.

About Patrick
Patrick is 19 years old and attends the University of Oklahoma, where he is majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He enjoys applying math to practical problem solving and engineering design.

12. It is great for dividing things evenly and is especially handy when baking.

I build and repair electric guitars.
