Mathnasium of North Austin's personalized geometry tutoring programs are designed to support students at every stage of their math journey.
We help students master foundational topics such as angles, shapes, congruence, and measurement, improving their spatial reasoning and logical thinking so they’re well prepared to take on more advanced geometry with confidence.
Using personalized learning plans, we can guide students through high-school-level Geometry concepts such as proofs, triangles, circles, transformations, and the Pythagorean theorem. We focus on helping them truly understand how geometry works.
At Mathnasium, advanced learners and students preparing for math competitions can tackle rigorous proofs, coordinate geometry, and multi-step challenges, deepening their understanding and strengthening skills for college-level coursework.
At Mathnasium of North Austin, our specially trained tutors work with students of all skill levels to help them truly understand and enjoy geometry through face-to-face instruction in a fun and empowering environment.
We guide students to connect geometric concepts to logical reasoning and real-world applications. As their understanding grows, so does their confidence to approach new problems with clarity and precision.
We employ the Mathnasium Method™, a proprietary teaching approach that combines personalized learning plans with proven instructional techniques. We work with students both in-center and online, helping them develop a lasting understanding of geometry.
In each session, students receive face-to-face instruction in a small-group setting where they strengthen problem-solving skills and deepen their understanding of geometric relationships and logic.
Students begin their Mathnasium enrollment with a diagnostic assessment that helps us pinpoint their current skill level, knowledge gaps, and learning goals.
Using these insights, we develop a personalized learning plan tailored to each student’s needs. Our tutors then target instruction on key topics such as angles, congruence, transformations, the Pythagorean Theorem, and proofs, ensuring they learn and master each concept step by step.

Lakshmi Kondubhatla
Director
Lakshmi earned her mathematics degree from the University of Texas at Austin. While tutoring middle school students with a nonprofit organization, she saw firsthand how achievement gaps can hold students back and developed a passion for supporting individual learners. Inspired by her father, a lifelong teacher, Lakshmi followed his example by dedicating her career to education.
At Mathnasium, Lakshmi is excited by the opportunity to inspire children and make math both understandable and enjoyable. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and solving crosswords and sudoku puzzles.
Uma Srinivas
Assistant Center Director
Uma joined Mathnasium in 2015 with a background in accounting, initially focusing on operations. Over time, she discovered a passion for education and shifted into management, where she now enjoys working directly with students. Her favorite part of the role is helping young learners build confidence and overcome the fear of math.
Outside the center, Uma enjoys walking her dog, Bentley, and spending time with her family. She has two grown children who also share her love for teaching and mathematics.

Anshul Moondra
Lead Instructor
Anshul is a senior at UT Austin studying Computer Science and Math while working toward his integrated master’s degree. A Mathnasium instructor for more than three years, he draws on his own experience with math competitions to inspire students and deepen their problem-solving skills. His teaching emphasizes conceptual understanding over memorization.
Outside of Mathnasium, Anshul can be found watching Red Sox games, playing piccolo in the Longhorn Band, or helping his friends with homework. He enjoys sharing his love of math in both academic and personal settings.
Sam Zigrossi
Instructor
Sam holds a B.S. in Mathematics Education, an M.S. in Education Administration, and an MBA in Management. He serves as an Adjunct Professor at Texas State University’s School of Business, specializing in Human Resource Management and Leadership. Instructor
Michele Seidel has a B.A. in Mathematics from Hunter College of the City University of New York. She holds a permanent certification for Secondary Mathematics in Texas. She was employed by the Eanes School District for 5 years. She began working with special needs middle school students in the West Ridge Middle School and then transferred to Westlake High School, where she taught Algebra 1 & 2. She currently volunteers with the Assistance League of Austin, whose mission is to enable children and adults to achieve a higher quality of life by providing basic needs, including clothing to school-age children within the Austin ISD. She's thrilled to be part of a team that understands how children learn best.
Swati Kapoor
Instructor
Swati has a Master’s degree in Commerce and worked as a Realtor® for several years. She is hugely inspired by her mom’s and aunt’s illustrious careers in education and often used to role-play as a teacher in childhood. Her biggest moments of joy come from helping a child conquer a feared Math topic or helping them apply their Math skills to problem-solve. Besides teaching, she enjoys nature, music and dance, philosophical discussions, travel, poetry, Scrabble®, and laughing out loud.
