Zac DeLane

Lead Instructor
Zac is a senior at UT Austin studying Design (graphic, interaction, and industrial). He has worked with Mathnasium for over four years and is now a lead instructor. His teaching philosophy is always: why does this matter to me in the real world? This leads students to understand and enjoy the material more as they see why their work matters, leading to better retention. And, of course, he loves to make math fun! In his spare time, you’ll find him walking around Austin with his DSLR camera and giving back to the community through his involvement on the Graphic Design Advisory Board for Round Rock ISD.

Anshul Moondra

Lead Instructor
Anshul is a senior at UT Austin studying Computer Science and Math and working towards his integrated master's degree in Computer Science. He is a lead instructor at Mathnasium and has taught there for three years. He enjoys working at Mathnasium as he shares the knowledge he gained from preparing for math competitions and inspires students to learn more. His goal is to have his students understand how math works on a conceptual level. Outside of Mathnasium, you will find Anshul watching Red Sox games, playing the piccolo as a part of the Longhorn Band, or helping his friends with homework.

Shanti Sriram

Shanti Sriram has a bachelor's degree in Commerce, with a specialization in accounting and auditing. Before moving to the US, Shanti worked in a firm as an audit assistant in a team that audited companies. She joined Mathnasium about 3 years back, and thoroughly enjoys teaching here. Shanti loves helping students see the logic behind simple math concepts, and seeing their faces brighten with the understanding of the problem. Mathnasium made Shanti realize that every child is capable of being an achiever when given the time and space to grow. Outside of Mathnasium, Shanti loves to travel and read travel blogs and garden, and practice yoga.

Kevin Baez

Kevin Baez graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2020 with a BS in General Mathematics and is pursuing his master's degree at the University of Texas at Dallas. He tries his best to help students understand the fundamentals so that they can grow more comfortable with math. Eventually, Kevin hopes that they can find a more solid footing on the subject to continue on exploring themselves. Math is his passion, and he hopes to pursue it in the future. Kevin enjoys playing soccer, drawing, video games, reading, and cultures outside of his mathematical journey.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
