Flo is a former high school math teacher and an alumni of Teach for America. Janet

Lead Instructor
Janet has earned a BA in Mathematics from UMD, College Park and an AA from Montgomery College. All throughout school, she always enjoyed helping her classmates who were struggling with math. She has brought this enthusiasm to Mathnasium, striving to make math more digestible and help them experience that "Eureka!" moment when everything just clicks. After all, it’s more enjoyable to think together than to struggle alone.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
