Daniel

Instructor

Daniel has always had a passion for math and has been helping students succeed for years. In his spare time he like to play, make, and modify video games. Something people might not know about him? His favorite color is fuchsia! And Daniel's favorite movie is 'Shawshank Redemption'.

Christina

Instructor

Christina is going into her senior year at Mountain Ridge High School. She enjoys spending her free time reading philosophy books. Something on her bucket list? To go scuba diving! Fun fact? She was born in Japan.

Muraad

Instructor

Muraad is a junior at Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix. He loves learning and teaching math, and has experience in tutoring kids as well. He is a former Mathnasium student, too! In his free time, Muraad likes to play basketball, pickleball, play video games, and resell sneakers. Fun fact? His favorite destination in the world is London!

Alix

Instructor

Alix is going to be a senior at Shadow Mountain High School in the fall of 2024. She is also a volleyball player both at school and for a club team! She really enjoys math and hopes to study it in some form in college!

Micaela

Instructor

Michaela is a senior at Chaparral High School. She plays flag football at school and enjoys going to the gym. She also enjoys studying French!

Andrew B.

Instructor

Andrew is excited to be a part of the Mathnasium team! He has always loved helping others improve their learning; being a math tutor at Mathnasium lets him help students learn and have fun! In his spare time, Andrew loves to listen to music, play basketball, and play the guitar.

Patrick W.

Instructor

Patrick is a senior with BIG goals to get into MIT after graduation. He is very interested in math but also likes studying science and AI, too. Patrick enjoys coding and playing Chess in his free time!

Maxwell F.

Instructor

A former math teacher, Maxwell has long liked math for its promotion of logical and creative thinking. In his free time, he likes learning math to share with students and sampling cuisines from around the world.

Jason Farnum

Center Director

Jason is a huge nerd and comes from the wonderful world of video games management. He has a love for animals and owns several rescue dogs, chickens, giant desert tortoises, and rabbits. As a parent, he understands the struggle of helping kids with their math. Jason is passionate about helping students and looks forward to assisting more families with their goal of achieving math success!

Quincy

Instructor

Hi! I'm Quincy and I am a sophomore at Scottsdale Preparatory Academy. I moved to AZ 2 years ago from San Diego, CA. I am a part of my school's choir and play both the saxophone and ukulele. I've always enjoyed math, problem solving, and puzzles so working at Mathnasium was something I really wanted to pursue!

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
