Jason proudly embraces his inner nerd and comes from the exciting world of video game management. As someone who loves both numbers and nurturing, he’s passionate about helping students develop confidence and success in math. As a parent himself, he understands the challenges families face with math and is committed to making the journey smoother and more enjoyable for everyone.
Outside of Mathnasium, Jason is an animal lover with a lively home full of rescue dogs, chickens, giant desert tortoises, and rabbits. He’s excited to be part of each student’s growth and looks forward to helping more families reach their math goals!
Barrett graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and is currently pursuing his Master's in Accounting at Arizona State University. With a lifelong love for math, he is excited to create a fun and challenging learning environment that helps students build confidence and reach their full potential.
Before joining Mathnasium, Barrett worked at a summer camp in Texas and as a hockey coach, where he developed his passion for teaching and mentoring. In his free time, he enjoys working out, playing or watching hockey, and spending time with his cat. He looks forward to inspiring students and making math an enjoyable experience!
Daniel has always had a strong passion for math and has been helping students succeed for years. He enjoys making math understandable and rewarding, and he's dedicated to helping each student gain confidence and reach their full potential.
When he’s not tutoring, Daniel enjoys playing, creating, and modifying video games. A fun fact about him? His favorite color is fuchsia, and his favorite movie is The Shawshank Redemption!
Christina is entering her senior year at Mountain Ridge High School and has a strong appreciation for math and critical thinking. She enjoys helping students grasp new concepts and build lasting confidence in their math skills.
In her free time, Christina loves reading philosophy books and diving deep into big ideas. A few fun facts—she was born in Japan, and one of her bucket list goals is to go scuba diving! She's excited to be part of the Mathnasium team and support students on their learning journeys.
Muraad is a junior at Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix with a strong passion for learning and teaching math. As a former Mathnasium student himself, he understands the program from both sides and is excited to now help other students grow and succeed. With previous tutoring experience, Muraad brings both knowledge and enthusiasm to every session.
Outside of the classroom, he enjoys playing basketball, pickleball, and video games, and he also has a knack for reselling sneakers. A fun fact? His favorite destination in the world is London!
Alix is currently a senior at Shadow Mountain High School with a strong passion for math and a desire to study it further in college. She enjoys helping others gain confidence in their math skills and is excited to support students on their learning journey.
Outside of the classroom, Alix is a dedicated volleyball player, competing for both her high school and a club team. She brings energy, focus, and a team spirit to everything she does—both on the court and at Mathnasium!
Michaela is a senior at Chaparral High School with a calm and steady approach to learning. She enjoys helping students feel confident and comfortable with math, creating a supportive environment where they can thrive.
Outside of school and tutoring, Michaela plays flag football, enjoys going to the gym, and likes studying French. She brings a quiet enthusiasm to everything she does and is always ready to help students succeed.
Andrew is excited to be part of the Mathnasium team! He loves helping others improve their learning, and being a math tutor allows him to share his passion for math while making learning fun and engaging for students. He enjoys helping each student grow in both skill and confidence.
In his spare time, Andrew listens to music, plays basketball, and jams on the guitar. He brings positivity and energy to every session and looks forward to helping students succeed!
Patrick is a senior with big aspirations—he has his sights set on MIT after graduation! He’s deeply interested in math and also enjoys exploring science and artificial intelligence. As a tutor, Patrick loves sharing his passion for problem-solving and helping students build strong math foundations.
In his free time, he enjoys coding, playing chess, and tackling new challenges that sharpen his critical thinking. Patrick brings focus and enthusiasm to every session at Mathnasium!
A former math teacher, Maxwell has long appreciated math for the way it encourages both logical and creative thinking. He enjoys making math meaningful and accessible for students, and loves finding new ways to connect concepts to real-world ideas.
In his free time, Maxwell continues to learn more math to share with students and enjoys sampling cuisines from around the world. He’s excited to support each learner on their journey toward greater math confidence and understanding!
Quincy is a sophomore at Scottsdale Preparatory Academy with a strong passion for math, problem-solving, and puzzles. He enjoys helping others develop their math skills and fostering a love for learning through hands-on tutoring at Mathnasium.
Outside of school and Mathnasium, Quincy is a member of his school's choir and plays both the saxophone and ukulele. Having moved to Arizona two years ago from San Diego, CA, he enjoys exploring new activities and is excited to help others succeed in math!
Caden is a student at Pinnacle High School with a passion for math and problem-solving. He plans to pursue a degree in engineering, where he can apply his analytical skills to real-world challenges.
In his free time, Caden enjoys solving puzzles, gaming, and biking. He is excited to help students develop their math skills and confidence, making learning both engaging and rewarding!
Dhruva is a junior at Chaparral High School with a deep passion for math and a talent for STEM. He enjoys tackling complex problems and applying his mathematical skills to various challenges. His curiosity for math drives him to explore new concepts and expand his knowledge in the field.
Outside of school, Dhruva loves hiking with his dog and playing video games. He finds a balance between his academic interests and outdoor adventures, always eager to try new things!
Muraad is a junior at Brophy College Preparatory with a strong passion for math and helping others succeed. As a former Mathnasium student, he understands the value of building confidence through consistent practice and support. His goal is to help students enjoy learning and feel empowered through math.
Outside of academics, Muraad enjoys playing basketball, pickleball, and video games. He also has a knack for entrepreneurship and resells sneakers in his free time. His favorite city to visit is London, and he brings energy, focus, and a positive attitude to everything he does at Mathnasium.
Willem is a student at Brophy College Preparatory with a strong passion for math. Having been a student at Mathnasium himself, he understands the importance of building strong math skills and is excited to share that knowledge with others.
Outside of academics, Willem enjoys a variety of activities that keep him active and engaged. He’s an avid archer, enjoys playing pickleball, and loves snowboarding in the winter. When he’s not on the move, Willem enjoys reading and playing video games, making time to unwind and explore new worlds.
