Chris studied neuroscience at MIT and Boston University, where he developed a strong interest in math and statistics through his research in pediatrics. Originally from Chicago, IL, he brings a thoughtful, analytical approach to helping students understand mathematical concepts with clarity and confidence.
Outside of academics, Chris enjoys listening to music, playing guitar, and—most of all—spending time with his dog, Vera. He’s excited to support students as they build their problem-solving skills and grow their love for learning.
Daniel has a strong passion for math and years of experience helping students succeed. He’s committed to making math understandable and rewarding while helping students grow in confidence and skill.
Outside of Mathnasium, Daniel enjoys creating and modifying video games and exploring his creativity through coding. A couple of fun facts: his favorite color is fuchsia, and his favorite movie is The Shawshank Redemption! He’s thrilled to be part of a team that helps students love learning.
A former math teacher, Maxwell has long appreciated math for the way it encourages both logical and creative thinking. He enjoys making math meaningful and accessible for students, and loves finding new ways to connect concepts to real-world ideas.
In his free time, Maxwell continues to learn more math to share with students and enjoys sampling cuisines from around the world. He’s excited to support each learner on their journey toward greater math confidence and understanding!
Jaden goes to Synnyslope High School and used to be a Mathnasium student herself! She has always had a strong passion for math and helping other excel in the subject. She especially likes seeing students build confidence in math and in themselves.
Outside of Mathnasium, Jaden enjoys flag football, playing the guitar, getting lost in her favorite books, and spending time outdoors.
A junior at Brophy College Preparatory, Nevin is passionate about helping guide students to success! He loves discovering more about math through teaching, and some of his favorite moments are when students grow in confidence and understanding. When he’s not working, Nevin goes on runs, plays tennis, and volunteers for Hope Squad. He also enjoys improvising on the viola and composing music! Nevin looks forward to every session, and always brings optimism and dedication to each student.
