Ryan has traveled throughout the country and landed here in Seattle. He graduated from the University of North Florida with a degree in Mathematics in Education. He loves making connections with students and furthering their Mathematical abilities. Outside of the center he likes video games, drawing, hiking, and biking.
Steven has worked with Mathnasium as early as 2021 and loves helping students develop a strong understanding of math. He enjoys seeing concepts "click" and making learning an engaging experience. Currently pursuing a Computer Science degree at the University of Washington, Steven combines his technical skills with a passion for education. Outside of work and school, he enjoys playing games, watching movies, and exploring great food spots.
Bella grew up in Southern California and moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington. She is currently finishing her fourth year as a chemical engineering student and will graduate this spring. After graduation, she plans on pursuing a career in wastewater treatment. Before joining the team here at Mathnasium in 2024, she had two years of experience working with kids and a year of experience building early childhood development tools. In her free time, Bella enjoys snowboarding, making music, and hanging out with her cat. Her favorite part about working at Mathnasium is helping show kids that math doesn't have to be scary!
Mary has experience working with kids across various subjects and has also tutored peers in high school. She loves building connections with students while helping them deepen their understanding of math. Currently a second-year student at the University of Washington, she is pursuing a degree in Data Science. In her free time, Mary enjoys playing games, watching esports, and experimenting with internet recipes.
Jared has been a private guitar instructor for over 12 years and loves teaching children of all ages. In that time, he's played shows all over the country and even had the opportunity to play overseas in Europe as well as in Australia and New Zealand. A couple years back, he decided to change his focus from music to science and mathematics, fueled by a new curiosity about our natural universe. He is currently pursuing a degree in physics and mathematics, and hopes to share the curiosity and passion for science and learning with the next generation.
