Joseph is the Owner of Mathnasium of Northern Silver Spring. He holds a Master’s Degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, and previously served as a Research Faculty specializing in Network Security. Despite once struggling with math himself, Joseph is now passionate about helping children understand math in a way that truly makes sense.
He’s taught and tutored students of all ages and is committed to bringing the proven Mathnasium Method to the local community. His personal experience drives his mission to empower students to approach math with confidence and curiosity.
Stella holds an MBA from the Smith School of Business and a BS in Decision Information & Technology from the University of Maryland, College Park. Before Mathnasium, she spent over 15 years in business and IT roles with companies like Verizon, Booz Allen, and CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Throughout her career, Stella has relied on math-based problem-solving skills to achieve success. Her true passion lies in teaching and working with children. Through Mathnasium, she’s excited to nurture a love for math and help students build a strong foundation for lifelong confidence and academic success.
