Q: What is the first thing a new student would do upon entering Mathnasium?
A: They will be greeted by our Center Director or Assistant Center Director, will learn the location of their binder and will be seated with an instructor that will go over how a session looks like in our center.
Q: What does the first session look like for new students?
A: Instructor will welcome the student and go over how the binder is structured, explain our reward card system and all the fun activities, decorate their binder spine, and do some initial work in their binder.
Q: Have you seen a student’s attitude towards math change?
A: Yes, Katie came being very shy and not wanting to say much during her session. After 2-3 sessions, she started coming in with a smile and opening up with us about topics she needed additional help from school.
Q: What do you wish students and parents knew before they brought their student to your center?
A: Consistency and regular attendance are key for success!
