Sabrina brings several years of experience in managing and leading in a learning center environment to Mathnasium of North Peoria. Her background in the supplemental education field has shown her how crucial it is to address gaps in a student's education early on.
She enjoys watching students gain confidence in math and sees how that confidence positively impacts all aspects of their learning. Sabrina is passionate about helping students succeed and is dedicated to supporting their growth in both math and beyond!
Alexandra
Instructor
Alexandra is a senior at BASIS Peoria with a strong academic drive and a love for learning. She enjoys helping students understand and appreciate math, and finds joy in seeing their confidence grow with each new concept they master.
Outside of school and work, Alexandra spends her free time playing the piano or relaxing with a good Netflix show. She loves exploring new cultures and cuisines, with a dream to travel the world one day. So far, her favorite destination has been Japan!

Ved is a student at Mountain Ridge High School who enjoys learning and sharing knowledge with others, especially in math. He values the process of problem-solving and likes helping students grow their skills and confidence.

Thomas is a freshman at BASIS Peoria with a strong enthusiasm for math and problem-solving. After spending over two years as a student at Mathnasium of Surprise working on math enrichment, he now enjoys giving back by helping other students strengthen their skills and build confidence in math.
When he's not at school or Mathnasium, Thomas likes to code and stay involved in STEM-related activities. A fun fact about him? He’s a big fan of ice cream sandwiches!

Laradee is a graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in Mathematics. With aspirations of becoming a teacher or data scientist, he’s passionate about using math to make a real-world impact and helping students build confidence in their own math abilities.
In his free time, Laradee enjoys music, watching sports, and solving sudoku puzzles. His favorite area of math is Calculus, and he’s a big fan of Twizzlers and the Memphis Grizzlies!
Shashvat

Shashvat is a senior at BASIS Peoria with a strong interest in math and enjoys helping others develop their understanding of it. He values logical thinking and problem-solving—skills he brings to every tutoring session.
Outside of academics, Shashvat enjoys playing basketball and chess. One of his favorite experiences was traveling to Hawaii, where he loved the unique cuisine and rich culture.

In her free time, Avni enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors. Her favorite trip so far has been to Indonesia, where she loved the beautiful beaches. On her bucket list? Taking a hot air balloon ride to enjoy scenic views from above!

If a student is struggling or simply looking to keep up in their math class, Mathnasium will build upon what they already know, addressing their learning gaps and teaching math in a way that makes sense to them.
Mathnasium provides premium value by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low. There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly—much like a gym membership. We recommend that they attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout. Pricing varies by program and geographic area. Contact our center for more details on enrollment packages.
