  Yes, Mathnasium of Northwest Reno offers both in‑center and online tutoring. All students receive face‑to‑face instruction in a supportive small‑group environment from the same caring tutors, whether they attend online or in person.

• Is there a difference between online and in‑person tutoring?

  No, whether attending online or in‑center, students receive the same quality of live, face‑to‑face instruction.  

  Online students receive the same personalized learning plans and caring support from our specially trained tutors in Northwest Reno as those in the center.

• Is there a difference between the cost of online and in‑center math tutoring?

  No. Membership pricing is the same whether students attend online, in person, or in a hybrid format.

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment?

  Each student begins their Mathnasium journey with a diagnostic assessment designed to help us understand their current skill level, identify learning gaps, and set academic goals.  

  This allows us to create a personalized learning plan tailored to their needs. 

• How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

  At Mathnasium of Northwest Reno, we use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary approach that combines personalized learning plans with proven instructional techniques to help students truly understand and even enjoy math.
