Q1: What’s the most important habit students can build to succeed in math?
A: Confidence, which comes with practice. Having a good attitude towards the subject or enjoying the teacher is always helpful, too!
Q2: What do students usually enjoy the most about Mathnasium once they get started?
A: The card system and reward shelf help as physical rewards for the work they're doing. Also if they have a friend here, that makes coming here much more fun. I try to be a friend and an instructor for the kids.
Q3: How do you keep students motivated during tough topics?
A: I'll always help them by working with them through the problems. Also, making sure they know I'm there for them makes them believe they can take on tough topics.
