Mathnasium of North Wilmington wants to introduce you to our Owner, Kristina Miller

Q: Why did you choose to own a Mathnasium center? A: Math is a passion, so being able to share my love of math with impressionable students is rewarding to me. I love when students realize their potential and that math isn't as scary as they thought.

Q: What do you like about the city your Mathnasium center is located in? A: I have many childhood memories linked to North Wilmington, since this is where my grandparents lived for the majority of my childhood.

Q: Can you think of any way that your center has positively impacted the community that it’s located in? A: Mathnasium builds confident and intelligent students inside and outside of the classroom. Students like this help enrich the community as they grow up and lead our future!

Q: Did you like math when you were in grade school? A: Yes!

Q: What do you think you would have liked most about Mathnasium if you had attended when you were in grade school? A: Being able to strengthen my foundational skills to become an unstoppable math student! I also could've benefited from some confidence to overcome test anxiety during my high school years.

Q: One last question, what’s something fun you enjoy doing in North Wilmington? A: Visit the museums (Delaware Art Museum, Delaware Museum of Natural History, Hagley Museum, and the Nemours Garden and Estate) and parks (Alapocas, Bellevue, and Brandywine Creek). The restaurants in our shopping center are great and The Comic Book Shop! and Jupiter Records on Marsh Road are always worth a visit!"
