Say hello to Emily Gyurke, your local Center Director for Mathnasium of East Lake FL!

So, Emily Gyurke, What is your favorite thing to do in the city where your center is located? A: I love taking my son to Honeymoon Island to walk on the beach.

What is your favorite Mathnasium success story? A: One of our students had a very rough start with math. She lacked confidence and cried when her mom signed her up for our program. She barely spoke to any instructors the first few sessions. After a few months at Mathnasium, her whole attitude towards math changed- she begged her mom to bring her. She found a love for math that will last a lifetime!

Where’s your favorite place to eat? A: I love lunch at Green Market Cafe and dinner at the restaurant next door, Sip85!

What’s your favorite kind of math? A: algebra

What do you like the most about the Mathnasium Method? A: I love that the mathnasium method teaches students to be critical thinkers and to use mental math- skills they will use throughout their whole lives!
