Jessica F.

Jessica F.

Center Director
Jessica joins Mathnasium with a background in dance (teaching and performing), elementary, secondary and college tutoring, band management, modeling, and, most recently, as a manager for an Artists' Creative Collective in Houston. She has teaching experience with children of all ages, including adults and with children with special needs. Jessica attended the University of California, Los Angeles where she studied Classical Civilization, Plague Culture, Folklore, and Astronomy. In her spare time, Jessica loves to spend time with her dogs, put together Legos, or do a crossword! She loves to travel and food! Her favorite movie is "The Labyrinth."

Abigail

Assistant Center Director

Abigail is currently a freshman studying Spanish at Paradise Valley Community College. When not working or studying, she enjoys playing the guitar. At the top of her bucket list of things to do is to visit Japan when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. Favorite movie? 'Fantastic Mr. Fox'!

Nadia

Instructor
Nadia is currently both a student and an Instructor at Mathnasium! She recently traveled to Japan and loved it! Her goal is to become an anesthesiologist.

Christina

Instructor
Christina is going into her junior year at Mountain Ridge High School. She enjoys spending her free time reading philosophy books. Something on her bucket list? To go scuba diving! Fun fact? She was born in Japan.

Barrett K.

Assistant Center Director

Barrett graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelors in Economics and is currently pursuing a Masters in Accounting at ASU. He is excited to foster a fun and challenging learning environment to students of all ages! Math has always been his favorite subject and he is ready to help students reach their potential and build confidence along the way. Prior to working at Mathnasium, Barrett worked at a summer camp in Texas, as well as working as a hockey coach! In his free time, he can usually be found in the gym, playing or watching hockey, or hanging out with his cat!

Ronak

Instructor
Ronak is currently an Environmental Science major at ASU. During his free time, he enjoys watching basketball and playing video games. His favorite place to visit is San Francisco.

Alix

Instructor
Alix is going to be a senior at Shadow Mountain High School in the fall of 2024. She is also a volleyball player both at school and for a club team! She really enjoys math and hopes to study it in some form in college!

Maya

Instructor
Maya is in her senior year at XCP. In her free time, she likes to read and go on runs with her mom. Her favorite movie is Tangled!

Micaela

Instructor
Michaela is a senior at Chaparral High School. She plays flag football at school and enjoys going to the gym. She also enjoys studying French!

Marie H.

Instructor

Marie is in her junior year at Chaparral High School. She plays flute and piccolo for her school’s wind ensemble. In her free time she enjoys hiking, climbing, listening to music, and making art!

Quincy

Instructor

Hi! I'm Quincy and I am a sophomore at Scottsdale Preparatory Academy. I moved to AZ 2 years ago from San Diego, CA. I am a part of my school's choir and play both the saxophone and ukulele. I've always enjoyed math, problem solving, and puzzles so working at Mathnasium was something I really wanted to pursue!

Our Mathnasium Mission

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
