We guide students through their transition from concrete to abstract thinking, mastering integers, fractions, order of operations, and introductory variables while building the algebraic reasoning needed for Algebra 1.
Our caring tutors navigate students through multi-step equations, linear functions, graphing, and word problems using personalized plans that turn this pivotal course into a confident foundation for future math success.
We support students with fast-paced, complex math topics like factoring polynomials, quadratics, exponentials, and logarithms, while building advanced problem-solving skills Precalculus and college-prep coursework ask for.
At Mathnasium of Parker, our specially trained math tutors help students of all skill levels learn and master algebra. We support students in Prealgebra, Algebra 1, and Algebra 2, as well as topics like expressions, equations, functions, graphing, polynomials, and exponential relationships.
We provide personalized, face-to-face instruction in a caring and fun small-group environment. Our tutors use clear, everyday language, meet students exactly where they are, and guide them step by step, so algebra feels understandable and confidence-building.
We use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary teaching approach designed to help each student truly understand how algebra functions while sharpening critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Our tutors combine proven interactive techniques with personalized learning plans tailored to each student’s needs and learning style. This makes algebra clear, meaningful, and easier to apply both in class and in real-world situations.
Each student’s Mathnasium journey begins with a diagnostic assessment that helps us pinpoint their current skills, knowledge gaps, and goals. With these insights, we create a personalized learning plan that focuses on exactly what each student needs, whether they need to catch up, keep up, or get ahead.
Having the plan in place, our tutors deliver targeted, supportive instruction, adapting in real time to the student’s learning style. This approach helps students fill knowledge gaps, strengthen foundational skills, and build lasting confidence as they progress through algebra.

Spencer Benner
Regional Director
Spencer began his Mathnasium career in 2018 as a part time instructor with Mathnasium of Oviedo, FL while attending the University of Central Florida. Spencer was quickly promoted to Lead Instructor where his understanding of the Mathnasium Method deepened through creation of learning plans for students. With excellent student progress and customer satisfaction, Spencer was soon moved into the Center Director role.
In 2024, Spencer moved across the country to Colorado and joined the Mathnasium of Littleton team as the Center Director. Spencer brought the same level of high expectations to the team. Spencer led Littleton to become a 100+ 5 star Google review center and student progress reflected that.

Mathnasium of Parker's tutors work with students of any level of algebra, including Prealgebra, Algebra 1, and Algebra 2.
No matter where your student is, our tutors build a personalized learning plan around their current math skills, guiding them to catch up, keep up, or get ahead while building deep understanding along the way.
Our tutors help students master any algebra topic, including:
Expressions and equations
Inequalities
Linear and quadratic functions
Systems of equations and graphing
Polynomials and factoring
Exponents, radicals, and rational expressions
Each student's personalized learning plan focuses directly on what they need, so each session moves them closer to mastering algebra.
We start with the assessment because it gives us a clear picture of where a student stands with algebra, what they already know, where the gaps are, and what they're aspiring to achieve.
From there, we build a personalized learning plan around that student specifically, instead of starting everyone at the same place or assuming what a "typical" student at their grade level should already know.
At Mathnasium of Parker, we do not follow a fixed, one-size-fits-all curriculum. Instead, we employ the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary teaching approach that combines personalized learning plans with proven instructional techniques to build deep algebraic understanding.
We build on what each student already knows, fill in knowledge gaps, and introduce new concepts in a logical sequence, prioritizing true comprehension over memorization.
Yes, Mathnasium tutors work with students of all skill levels, including those falling behind. At Mathnasium, we focus on “teaching for understanding," meaning we teach math in a way that makes sense to students. Building upon what students are already familiar with, our tutors guide them to fill any gaps in their knowledge in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Absolutely! We work with advanced algebra students across the board, including:
Students in honors and accelerated courses
Students looking to get ahead of upcoming coursework
Students seeking enrichment beyond the classroom
We also help students build the algebra skills they'll need for college entrance exams like the PSAT®, SAT®, and ACT®.
Certainly. Our tutors can provide homework support during sessions. Rather than simply providing answers, our tutors use homework as a window of opportunity to reinforce what a student is learning, walking them through the reasoning behind each problem so they can handle similar ones independently next time.
Yes! Each student's personalized learning plan can align with the Colorado Academic Standards (CAS) for Mathematics and classroom goals, giving them a solid understanding of the material before any quizzes, unit tests, and final exams.
For standardized assessments that include algebra content, our tutors focus on closing knowledge gaps early, so test day feels like a chance to show what students already know rather than a scramble to catch up.
Yes, students can join live, face-to-face online sessions with the same tutors they'd work with at our Parker center. Online instruction follows the same personalized learning plan and delivers the same quality of caring, real-time support as attending in person.
No, there's no difference. In-center or online, students work with the same specially trained tutors, follow the same personalized learning plan, and get the same face-to-face instruction. Many families mix both formats for added flexibility.
Our tutors are familiar with the Colorado Academic Standards (CAS) for Mathematics and their specific classroom curriculum. When helpful, we align instruction with what students are working on in local Douglas County schools to support both classroom performance and broader math goals.
While Mathnasium of Parker works with K-12 students, algebra support tends to concentrate in grades 6 through 12, spanning standard, honors, and accelerated coursework.
We also work with students earlier than that, helping middle schoolers build the foundational skills that make algebra land the moment they get there.
